I wonder how many commies there are posting to this site, BB. Kindly give us your estimate. :)

It is a floating number. Most of us at this site have been communists now and then depending upon which side of an issue we were on... BB's or any other side. AAny other opinion = commie. But there are times when a "commie" can actually get off the list, at least momentarily by agreeing with BB. He's actually a pretty good guy. Even the commies tend to give him the benefit of the doubt.

That's not true. If you are a liberal/socialist, you are a commie, simple as that. It has nothing to do with disagreeing with me.

The number changes, Skeptic was the top commie, but he may have gotten himself banned yesterday. There really aren't that many commies here. Most of the regular posters at TOL are Conservatives of varying degree. Some are libertarians. There are probably a dozen hard core commies that I know of posting at TOL, maybe not even that many.

See, Gerald is a perfect example. I don't agree with him very often, but I don't call him a commie simply because I disagree with him.
Gerald is as self serving as it gets, nobody would mistake him for a commie, unless he was a Democrat Leader or a Hollywood elite, then the line gets kinda blurry in a hurry.

Alright, I made a mistake. I'm not lighthouse (i.e. perfect)! However, the meaning is quite clear if you care to read it properly, sunshine.

I was trying to help you out. If you would have edited your post, I would have deleted mine. Not everyone is out to beat you. This isn't England, you know.

You have an amazing propensity for missing the point.

Billy Bob, I have just joined this site today. I noticed that you the the most prolific poster on this site. Consequently, I have read quite a few of your posts.
You seem to me to be a very bitter, antagonistic person. If someone disagrees with you call them nasty names.
I consider myself a good Christian and find it difficult to believe that you are one. Where is your charity, your understanding, your basic christianity? I have yet to read one of your posts where you actually sound like a Christian.

Since when do you consider yourself a good Christian, Jackielabby?

I like this thread. It is common to speak of “women's writing,” using sex as the unifying ingredient, and thus gathering together disparate writers solely on that basis.

If you believe that the government should take money from one person who worked for it and give it to another who didn't work for it BillyBob will call you a commie. SO WHAT! If that is what you believe wear the banner proudly!
Billy Bob and I have dramatically different views about the age of the earth. Yet to my knowledge he has never called me a nasty name. Would you like to know why he doesn't call me a "nasty name" Because my belief that the Earth is young doesn't require that anyone steal his hard earned money!

Thanks Delmar.
I have noticed that the commies try to shrug off their moniker [commie] by declaring that I use it every time I disagree with someone and it simply isn't true. The reality is that they know they are commies but refuse to openly admit it. They rarely even call themselves 'Liberals' because they know it means the same as commie so they invent cool sounding words like Progressive to make them feel better about themselves. :freak:

Yes, any day now I expect to get a life.
Consequently, I have read quite a few of your posts.
How many could you have read if this is your first day at TOL?
You seem to me to be a very bitter,
I don't know if I'm bitter, but I resent my freedoms being taken away by liberal ideals. I also resent the government reaching into my pockets and taking my hard earned money away from me and throwing it at any one of a dozen failed socialist programs.
antagonistic person.
Thanks for noticing.
If someone disagrees with you call them nasty names.
Not always.
I consider myself a good Christian and find it difficult to believe that you are one.
When you posted as JackieLabby, you made it clear that you weren't a Christian.
Where is your charity
My charitable works are none of your business. If I boasted about them, I would be defying a basic Christian tenet.
, your understanding,
Of what?
your basic christianity?
I keep it in a jar under my bed. :kookoo:

Yep. I've disagreed with BillyBob plenty of times, and he's never called me a commie.
