TOL the video game (newbies please read)

TOL is like a video game.

New players need to figure out how to play and survive.

The TOL staff is like a giant gorilla and you newbies are like lowly plumbers trying to save the princess. You need to avoid the barrels and pitfalls that come along with the game (especially as a new player). You newbies need to realize that you are in the gorillas house and you play by the gorillas rules.

If you are smart.... maybe you can save the princess. If you are clumsy you will be crushed by barrels.

A TOL newbie is a like a frog. And that frog needs to cross a very busy street without getting crushed by mods and admins... errrrr ....cars and trucks. If the frog makes it past the busy street he then has to cross a river by jumping from log to log. Finally he must jump into a safe nook at the top of the river. If he can do all of that without getting hit by a car or drowned in the river he is no longer a TOL newbie.

P.S. I never understood why frogs would drown in a river? :think:
