Zakath is not dead.

As most of you know Zakath has been missing in action for a couple weeks now.

I assured you Zakath was OK as he had e-mailed me telling me he would indeed make his ninth round post by the second extended deadline.

He did not make that deadline nor did he inform me as his plans however I was pretty sure he was still alive and kicking based on his prior e-mail to me.

Zakath e-mailed me again this morning in response to another e-mail I had sent to him asking him if he was OK.

His e-mail is as follows...Yes, barely. I'm on the road on business and will be back in the swing of things by next Monday.Therefore, you can stop worrying about Zakath as he is apparently still alive.

I am also very pleased to hear that Z is not dead, but I'm a bit surprised by his AWOL.

This leaves the question of what to do regarding the debate?

I know Zakath has forfeited it, but if he wants to write his own conclusion and the administration allows it, then I think he should be allowed to do so. After all, he did the bulk of the legwork.

If not, then we can continue as planned.
