Perspective

So yesterday I was a bit melancholy about the end of another season of Westernaires. I talked a bit with my daughter who was also feeling a bit down about and we decided that it is a matter of perspective.

From her point of view its sad because it will mean that some friendships end. But, as the kids ride out the tunnel for the last time the are literally riding into their future.

From the parents point of view, as the kids ride out the tunnel for the last time it means the kids are literally riding into their future which means there child is also riding out the front door of home.

For years, as a parent, you have been to the Jeffco fair grounds at least once a week and frequently more and that ends. I love the time with my daughter and I am not looking forward to it coming to an end.
