Friday I had to teach four girls. For some reason they refused to answer any questions with anything other than nonsense so I got them to write the story out a few times. They loved that.

So then one girl goes home and complains to her mother then Mother complains to boss. Cue a long protracted discussion about how to deal with a kid who won't talk.

I should have just given them all candy...

So. Two Mormon kids were sitting out snack time because they had received instruction (or the teachers had) that they were not to drink tea. And today's snack involved pearl milk tea. I asked them why they weren't drinking tea and asked if they were Mormon and was that the reason?

They said, "Yes".

I was rather taken aback because instead of the tea they had been given coke to drink and were sucking that back faster than you could say, "Magic underwear". True story....

On Thursday we went up a mountain and ran around an obstacle course, ate lunch and made paper. After making paper we could draw on it and laminate the finished product. I did a cartoon version of me. So, a couple of people have said they like the drawing (it's my avatar), but nobody has gone, "Dude! Is that your EAR!?!?"

After work my wife and I treated her bridesmaid and mother to dinner. Belinda is a continuing on after getting a masters in social work in the States. She returns...
