The Lord God wanted
Joshua as He asked Moses.
To groom him over Moses
Not seeing the Promised Land.
Over his anger over striking a rock.

Joshua was the protegee of Moses.
As the former would be
Taken the lead from the latter.
And his mentor to lead.
The people into the Promised Land.

For when we sin, we realize.
We not just hurt God.
But even those that
Are our friends and family.
Around us we hurt.
