I'm Back... ish.

What happened, one minute I was lurking then the odd post or two... now I'm back. Addicted once again to the ToL.

I have to admit though I am becoming a bit more set in my ways. There is overwhelming evidence for evolution.

There is a huge tide of transisitional fossils, thousand upon thousand of "never seen with human eyes" lifeforms being discovered, hidden for millions of years.

I'm becoming a lurker. I don't know how it happened. Perhaps it's work. Perhaps it's my Son Ethan being so unbelievable cute and time consuming now he can walk and make noises that sound like words.

I love You Tube, I especially love some creationists videos, we all need a laugh.

I notice one thing though, on many Scientific videos supporting the truth, Evolution, comments are left open and debate is encouraged.

However on many Creationist videos presenting nonsense as fact ,comments are turned off, are thier heads in the sand so much that even they deep down understand the MAJORITY of people think they are nuts and simply want to hide from this ?

Life without God.

Other than this fine establishment I have Christian friends in real life, a group of which are currently ready my copy of "The Plot" sent to me by Bob from the states.

One question/statement they ask/say to me which I can't seem to get them to bend thier noodles goes along such lines.
"I can't imagine a world without God, it wouldn't be worth living in."
My thoughts are as such.

As an Atheist I believe we already live in a world without...

Friends and family ask me why I post on a right wing theists forum. Not just why I post but why I spend so much time reading ToL and studying theism.

I'm right of centre myself I have a loathing of the lazy but still believe society should shelter the unfortunate, the disabled, and unemployed seeking work.

I accept that we evolved, but think we have out evolved Darwinism, that we can control our own future and that our "fitness" is our brains.
