Lightbulb priority of 'God' beyond concepts - December 12th, 2011, 01:22 AM

~*~*~

"Glory to God"....is a sufficient praise.

'Real God' is before, behind and beyond conception.

If one merely worships a 'concept' of 'God', his worship is imperfect, incomplete....since 'God' is prior to any body/mind concept, being an omnipresent universal Spirit-Presence.

With my fellow trinitarians, I can say "Blessed be the Trinity", with equal zest, but perhaps not so bound to a trinitarian conception of 'God' held as a 'dogma'. I see no necessity for such.

With my fellow unitarians, I can equally glorify and exalt the Father, as the one true God, the fountain-source, originator and progenitor of all....with Jesus as his anointed Son/Servant.

When we realize 'God' as Spirit, Reality, Love, Light, Truth, Existence, Consciousness, Being, the One, the All, put in any other 'name' denoting 'Deity'....that is all we need to realize, and then be that Presence. Nothing else is essential...or 'real' for that matter. Therefore....all this division, conflict or strife over the images, concepts, forms, names of 'God' are relative distractions, obsessions and merely 'cosmetic' non-essentials if you will. Drop all thoughts, ideas, images, concepts of 'God'...and what remains? - only the pure awareness that God is, beyond mind and all its conceptual imagery and assumptions.

Jesus calls us to value, attribute worth only to Spirit. Spirit alone is life and truth. Therefore, as a true worshipper of 'Real God'.....one opens his heart and soul only to the all-radiant and pervading Spirit-Presence. Immersing oneself in 'this' is true baptism.
