Every now and then its good to restate our mission here on TOL.
WHAT TOL IS NOT:
TOL is not a place to unite all Christians as one Body. The Bible says the truth divides. Uniting for the sake if uniting is evil and wrong.
TOL is not a place for limp wristed "nicer than God" Christian blabbering.
TOL is not a place for the mere purpose of fellowship, although we
HIGHLY encourage fellowship and have fun doing it, but it is NOT TOL's focus.
TOL is not a place for the sole purpose of increasing our post counts and user reputations, although we DO allow SPAMMING in
moderation and even encourage it in creative ways in specific threads -
yet even then in moderation.
WHAT TOL IS:
A place to debate politics, religion and the rest.
Another extremely popular Christian forum states the following in their rules:

We at TOL feel those rules are hateful, wicked and wrong.
God says....
Leviticus 19:17 ‘
You shall not hate your brother in your heart. You shall surely rebuke your neighbor, and not bear sin because of him.
And ....
Proverbs 27:5
Open rebuke is better Than love carefully concealed.
And ....
1Timothy 5:20 Those who are sinning
rebuke in the presence of all, that the rest also may fear.
And ....
Romans 12:9 Let love be without hypocrisy.
Abhor what is evil. Cling to what is good.
Therefore at TOL we encourage the harsh rebuke of the wicked and we encourage appropriate name calling and we especially encourage challenging people to test themselves to see if they are truly in the faith.

TOL is a place to expose the wickedness of abortion.
TOL is a place to expose the wickedness of sexual perversion and immorality.
TOL is a place to expose the lie of false religions and the futility of atheism.
TOL is a place to help Christians learn how to judge. (Mat 7)
TOL is a place to expose liberals and their failed worldviews.
TOL is right wing.
TOL is not your typical mamby pamby Christian website. At TOL the truth hurts. We realize this approach will keep our membership level much smaller than the standard Christian websites but if you are looking for
RIGHTEOUS "in your face" "tell it like it is" truth, TOL is the place to be and is like no other site on the internet.
