Could I get alittle help with this guy? I tried to explain it to him but he just cant get it. Or could one of you explain it to him. He is having a big problem with board policy.

That doesn't make sense.

[quote=some other dude;2364762]OK, then I was right. You just mindlessly bump them up. Like I said.

[quote=some other dude;2364935]Chronologically? No.
I haven't said anything spiritual yet. Seeing as I've only been here for less than a day, I thought I'd get some obvious things out of the way first, like your quirky posting style with "I said" and "bump" and "ROFLOL".
I've never encountered anybody who uses "I said", not even ten years ago on the internet, or twenty or thirty years ago on ethernetted office systems. "Bump" I guess makes sense, if your intent is to draw attention to yourself. And "ROFLOL". Yes, I see kids use it when texting each other. I can't say I've seen it used by an adult all that much, and certainly not as much as you do.

That's perfectly understandable.
Regardless, you do seem to bounce all over the place when engaged in a discussion. This is not a complaint, not an insult, merely an observation.

[quote=some other dude;2365301]Perhaps my lack of success as a heckler has to do with the fact that I'm not trying to be a heckler. Do you see my questions as criticisms? All I'm trying to do is understand why you do some things that nobody else here (as far as I have seen) does.
I think "mindlessly" is appropriate. If you don't agree, I've given you several opportunities to explain what insight can be found in "bump".
So far you haven't been able to.
I used stupid once. And in retrospect, "peculiar" would have been a better choice. If I've ruffled your feelings by using the terms "mindlessly" and "stupid", I beg your pardon. That was never my intention.

Try to read this again:
Actually, I'm calling neither of you mindless. What I'm calling mindless is the practice of (if I understand this correctly) bringing an old thread to the attention of the posters on this board by making a single post that says "bump".
By the way - there's a difference between "mindless" and "mindlessly stupid". I challenge you to show where I have said "mindlessly stupid".

But I feel sorry for him. I tried to explain it to him, but that was a lost cause. I was hoping some one would talk to him about it. Or atleast he would take his complaints to the moderators instead of me. He is the one that has a problem with it not me.
It looks like my easily confused young friend is seeking some more attention. Good bye my young attention seeking friend! Perhaps I'll see you next week!

I was just trying to help you. You wouldnt go ask the moderators the "why's" so I asked them for you. You didnt understand my explanation and you were so persistant on complaining to me I didnt know how to help you. The board told me to bump so I bump. I figured they could explain it better than I could.

Get over it too. LOL.
Why do you always say "I said" as if we didn't get it by you putting what the other person said into quotes.
Squeaker don't sweat over it. He doesn't agree with you so he will be suffering the lake of fire, right? So why not leave your Imaginary Friend to deal with it?
