"If a sheerly linguistic version of the gospel could be concocted, it would merely so be no longer the gospel. In the Lutheran Reformation’s understanding, which we believe in this matter to be correct, the sacraments make the inalienable externality of the gospel message and therefore are necessary to the authenticity of that message." (Christian Dogmatics [1984], II:302-303 as cited in Pontifications)

Since 1967, the second has been defined to be
the duration of 9,192,631,770 periods of the radiation corresponding to the transition between the two hyperfine levels of the ground state of the caesium 133 atom.[1]

Galatians 5:22-23 (New International Version)

But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control. Against such things there is no law.

What are my fruits today?

But unfortunately, if that rate is not constant (it is simply assumed to be so) we will never know.

Unless it changes dramatically, of course.

It's not constant. Get closer to a black hole and it changes.

So what you are saying is that we cannot count on God to create anything that is constant. Disturbing.

If there is a God that gave us a brain then he would expect us to use it.
How do you check if your level is reading correctly?
