President Obama is right to limit Plan B morning after pill

Young girls should need parental okay for pregnancy drug

NEW YORK DAILY NEWS

Friday, December 9 2011, 4:10 AM

Dad Obama got it right.

The President endorsed the judgment rendered Wednesday on the “morning after” pill by Health and Human Services Secretary Kathleen Sebelius. In her view, the pregnancy prevention drug shouldn’t be available to girls under 17 without a prescription.

Said Obama: “The reason Kathleen made this decision was she could not be confident that a 10year-old or an 11-year-old going to a drug store should be able, alongside bubble gum or batteries, be able to buy a medication that . . . could end up having an adverse effect. And I think most parents would probably feel the same way.”

“I will say this,” he added. “As the father of two daughters, it makes sense to apply some common sense.”

Limits and regulations on killing innocent children? That's not right at all.
