This pervert was taping boys in the shower for 3 years that police know about. The more you try to normalize perverted behavior, the more the really vile perverted behavior will surface. If the police investigation proves to be factual, flog him, and fine him payable to the families. If he has molested, execute him.

Well... nowadays just because they're called "Catholic" schools doesn't necessarily say anything about the beliefs of students or staff at those schools.

This is true nowadays.
"Myths are not lies," Tolkien countered, among the swaying trees of Magdalen Grove. Materialistic progress leads only to the abyss, Tolkien said, but the myths we tell reflect a fragment of the true light. He argued the Christ story functions as a myth, just like the Scandinavian myths they had loved, with one difference: The Christian myth was true.
This reminds me. Re-publican majority on the Supreme Court overturned a law stating that sexual assult of a child was a capital crime.
Anthony Kennedy, a Reagan appointee voted with the heathen, and not Scalia, Thomas and the others. Thanks. I don't beleive Reagan would approve of his vote.

He wouldn't. Nor, do I believe, would he approve of police investigations that take months or years to finally convict perverts of their crimes.
I recently read about an investigation in Las Vegas of a county employee who engaged in creating, storing, and distributing child pornography. The police investigation went on for 4 YEARS. He should have been convicted and sent to prison long before that.

A four year investigation of a well known kiddie porn distributor? What were they waiting for, the opportune moment to strike? I didn't realize the LV Police were Batman villains.
Here in Arizona, we have extremely harsh kiddie porn laws. 10 years, per picture, no parole. There is currently a college professor serving a 200 year sentence without parole for having 20 pictures on his comp.

Arizona is superior in many ways to Nevada. Nevada, truthfully, is one of the strangest states in the Nation. In some repects it maintains a stong sense of Wild West (our gun rights are not quite as good as Arizona's, but not bad either) with a certain Libertarian bend, and in other ways, Nevada (especially here in Vegas) can be so very liberal. Things were better - and I am not saying this in jest - when the mob ran things.

A softening of the laws against pedophilia?
It'll never happen. I've been told by a guy who knows it all.
