The Reason for the Sabbath is because Yah rested on that Day, He desired for us to rest with Him on that day. He sanctified it forever, and set it apart from the rest of the days, Yah did this on the 7th Day of Creation. It is the day we are to do HIS PLEASURE, and speak HIS WORDS and not our own. So that we grow closer to knowing Him, as He knows us! THAT is why it is supposed to be a “delight”!
Deut 5:29, 30 O that there were such a heart in them, that they would fear me, and keep all my commandments always, that it might be well with them, and with their children forever! Go say to them, Get you into your tents again.
His Commands are to be SEALED in us…Deut 6:8 and shall bind them as a sign on your hand, and they shall be as frontlets between your eyes.
Isaiah 58:13, 14 “If you do turn back your foot from the Sabbath, from doing your pleasure on My set-apart day, and shall call the Sabbath ‘a delight,’ the set-apart day of יהוה ‘esteemed,’ and shall esteem it, not doing your own ways, nor finding your own pleasure, nor speaking your own words, then you shall delight yourself in יהוה. The Purpose of the Sabbath:
A day of rest
A day of blessing
A day of peace
An identifying sign or “mark” forever between Yah and His People
A memorial to Yah for creation
A symbol of sanctification
A hallowed day to be set apart
A perpetual covenant

The little horn in Daniel, and the Beast of Revelation 13:3-9 have the same powers. We have already learned what Yahuweh’s “mark” is, His Sabbath, His Commands are His Seal in us, which we are to bind upon both our hand, and between our eyes. So we are bound, to Him.
The difference between the beast mark and the seal of Yah, is the beast only requires his mark halfway, hand OR. Whereas Abba Yah doesn’t want “lukewarm”! He wants ALL of what He says to be done! Hand AND between the eyes! No wishy washy in Yah. With Yah, we must dwell on it, AND DO IT. The Devil don’t care what you think as long as you do it anyway. If you don’t think it is right, and do it anyway, even if you think you have no choice, he don’t care…he gotcha. And if you do think it’s right, and do it, he still gotcha. If you don’t do the devils bidding, economic boycott, no buy, no sell.

The reason most people worship on Sunday is because its the Lord's Day, the day Jesus rose from the dead.
It was also done to differentiate the religion of Judaism and Christianity.
Let's not toss out brethren merely because they worship on one day and not another.
Some of us know the real reason why Sunday was picked.
1. The Emperor was a Sun worshiping Pagan Priest, most folks were pagan.
2. And The Emperor wanted to make a State religion so He had to apease the pagans and Christians.

I agree none should be tossed out, and I don't think that's what's being suggested here. But don't you find it interesting that the reason you gave was to "differentiate the religion of Judaism and Christianity?" As gentiles, we have been grafted on to the Olive Tree...why would we throw out God's Law just because we aren't required to keep the ceremonial laws which were given for Israel's disobedience?
Aren't you curious about the "fatness of the olive tree" we could be missing out on? And why? Because the Church in Rome decreed it to be so.

Considering your opening sentence, you have no idea what Sabbath is, nor do you understand what the truth is about the birthdate of the Messiah. It is in September, or TISHRI on the Hebrew calendar. And the Sabbath I speak of is the weekly Sabbath, on the 7th day, from Creation onward. IT has never changed. Pope Gregory changed the calendar yes, but he did not change the seventh days' position, just date so that the Christian Posh would fall on the Pagan worship of Eostra out of Babylonia/Nimrod era, and backwards. The Hebrew calendar is still correct. They never forgot the Sabbath Day. ALWAYS kept the 7th day.
As for the rest of Yahuweh's Appointes Times and Sabbaths, they also have nothing to do with Paganism. But everything else in the world DOES. The Hebrew Sciptures are the only Truth this world has that man can read, and that is, was, and ever shall be, TRUE. THE ONLY ONES. Both Tanach, and Brit Chadasha. And yes, the NT was written in Hebrew before Greek. And if we can't find one, it is not at all hard to trace back through the Greek lexicons to define MOST terms from the Hebrew lexicons. People just have to get off their fannies and do it. It is the only way to diligently search the Scriptures and study to be approved, BY YAH. And one must do it BY ASKING HIM, or they just don't get anywhere...but they are entreated to a downhill run if they begin to, and then turn their back on Him. Or if they make Him jealous by serving another, well...Then He turns His face, won't hear their prayers, and worse. But let me say this to you, go learn before you think to say what you don't know. Better yet, ask first, then seek, and you will find. That's in there. The Bible, is ONE WORD. Remember the Names, forget the passage numbers, page numbers, the blank page between the Old and the New...see the word new, many times as it was, "renewed", see His Name is not a title! See His Sabbaths are "made FOR MAN". So much you don't know. Riches beyond your wildest dreams. But it is you who must diligently search, I can't do it for you.
