Edit: Look, I'm not trying to inflate tattoos out to something they're not. They're not that big a deal, just worse than being cremated.
I understand you don't feel they're a big deal, but I am interested in your opinion. Why do you feel they are not healthy mentally and spiritually?

"You shall not sow your field with mixed seed. Nor shall a garment of mixed linen and wool come upon you."
Do you have daisies and roses in the same garden? What about tomatoes and strawberries?
Leviticus 19:27
"You shall not shave around the sides of your head, nor shall you disfigure the edges of your beard"
Get rid of that bic, ACW...
Romans 8:1-2
"There is therefore now no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus, who do not walk according to the flesh, but according to the Spirit. For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus has made me free from the law of sin and death."
1 Corinthians 10:23
"All things are lawful for me, but not all things are helpful; all things are lawful for me, but not all things edify."
At least this verse gives you a leg to stand on... you probably should get out of Leviticus if you're trying to dissuade anyone from getting tattoed unless you're burns are long and curly and you're not wearing polyester or any other number of mixed cloth clothes.
Sounds like the same folks that wrote that article were similar to the bunch in the church of latter day saints who wouldn't let blacks join until a few years ago... or the baptists who don't allow dancing.

So tell me MD, when you're gazing in the mirror admiring all of your tatts, is it still possible to love God more than yourself?

Never had one, never will.
So you use a verse that speaks of "cuttings in your flesh for the dead" to malign people with tattoos? Wierd.

Didn't answer my question, but did prove the author of that piece doesn't care that Leviticus 19:28 is specifically about markings "for the dead."
Seeing you are such a legalist, tell me if you kept the sabbath this Saturday? You are quick to point out one vague verse you think is about tattoos per se, but how will you handle the over 200 verses regarding sabbath worship?
