No work, no school, no chores, no banking, no shopping......wow, a communist utopia.
No thanks "occupy". I hope they take the extra time to occupy a shower. Actually, aren't these all activities they don't take part in anyway?
Just another day then.
God is not discoverable or demonstrable by purely scientific means, unfortunately for the scientifically minded. But that really proves nothing. It simply means that the wrong instruments are being used for the job. ~John Bertram Phillips

It seems as if they have completely lost the fact that they will at some point in their life be dependent on both Wall Street and Main Street in one sense or another.

They are now, they just aren't intelligent enough to realize it.
Their tents are made by big *gasp* companies who probably received business loans from *gasp* banks.
The parks they occupy are often maintained from private donations from *corporations* and people who *gasp* work and *gasp* earn enough to donate to parks and pay taxes.

I don't think the occupiers think they can lose all dependence on Wall St. I think they are trying to fix some inequalities they see in the corporate and political systems.
I don't think I will participate. At least not with the no work part.

What do chores have to do with it??
They don't want to do anything, they want everything handed to them.
But they don't get if everyone did that, there wouldn't be anything to hand them.

Noone is dependent on Wall Street. And Wall Street has so decimated Main Street at this point that there's nothing to occupy or boycott there. Main Street has become Wall Street aka Wallmart.

Good?
I love wal-mart. It's awesome. What's so great about main street? I haven't seen one I wanted to shop around at in a long time.

I think it would be more patriotic to support the small businesses of main street.
You right-wingers think walmart is such a great example of capitalism.
Picture the market as a literal garden of flowers. Now when one flower blocks the sun and kills all the other flowers, thereby treating it's competition like weeds, you think it is a beautiful thing? No, the plant that has blocked the sun is being abusive, and is acting as a weed. What was once a beautiful garden is now dominated by a single giant plant.

Well that's kinda the point, idn't it miss contrary? They've all been put out of business by Wallmart and Wall Street, so no there isn't much there indeed. You republicans have done a good job killing it off.
