We will be changed and become like Christ's glorified humanity.
We cannot share in His divinity.
----------------------------------------------
So I looked up "Christ's glorified humanity"
and this is what I came up with.
WEIRD OR WHAT ?
Looks like we have another Catholic in our Midst.
-------------------------------------------------------
Soliloquium on Glorified Humanity
“That very nature itself which Christ took on him in this world is exalted
into glory. Some deny that he has either flesh or blood in heaven, even though
they are changed, purified, and glorified. The great foundation of the church
and all gospel faith is that he was made flesh, he partook of flesh and blood.
It would be a heresy to say that he has now forsaken that flesh and blood with
which he was made in the womb of the blessed virgin, in which he lived and
died, which he offered to God in sacrifice, and in which he rose from the
dead.
Of course we cannot fully understand the true nature of the glorification of
the humanity of Christ. But then, it does not yet appear what we shall be.
Much less is it clear to us what he shall be like. But that he is still in the
human nature he had on earth, that he has the same rational soul and the same
body, is a fundamental article of the Christian faith.”

1Co 15:35 But some man will say, How are the dead raised up?
and with what body do they come?
1Co 15:44 It is sown a natural body;
it is raised a spiritual body.
There is a natural body, and there is a spiritual body.

Here are a few more scriptures for you to study.
2Co 5:17 Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.
Ga 6:15 For in Christ Jesus neither circumcision availeth any thing, nor uncircumcision, but a new creature.
Ps 17:15 As for me, I will behold thy face in righteousness: I shall be satisfied, when I awake, with thy likeness.
Heb 9:27 And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment:
1Co 15:53 For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality.
1Co 15:54 So when this corruptible shall have put on incorruption, and this mortal shall have put on
immortality, then shall be brought to pass the saying that is written, Death is swallowed up in victory.
2Ti 1:10 But is now made manifest by the appearing of our Saviour Jesus Christ, who hath abolished death, and hath brought life and immortality to light through the gospel:
Da 10:6 His body also was like the beryl, and his face as the appearance of lightning, and his eyes as lamps of fire, and his arms and his feet like in colour to polished brass, and the voice of his words like the voice of a multitude.Re 1:14 His head and his hairs were white like wool, as white as snow; and his eyes were as a flame of fire;
Re 2:18 And unto the angel of the church in Thyatira write; These things saith the Son of God, who hath his eyes like unto a flame of fire, and his feet are like fine brass;
Re 3:18 I counsel thee to buy of me gold tried in the fire, that thou mayest be rich; and white raiment, that thou mayest be clothed, and that the shame of thy nakedness do not appear; and anoint thine eyes with eyesalve, that thou mayest see.
Re 19:12 His eyes were as a flame of fire, and on his head were many crowns; and he had a name written, that no man knew, but he himself.
Re 11:12 And they heard a great voice from heaven saying unto them, Come up hither. And they ascended up to heaven in a cloud; and their enemies beheld them.
11 And after three days and an half the Spirit of life from God entered into them, and they stood upon their feet; and great fear fell upon them which saw them.
12 And they heard a great voice from heaven saying unto them, Come up hither. And they ascended up to heaven in a cloud; and their enemies beheld them.
13 And the same hour was there a great earthquake, and the tenth part of the city fell, and in the earthquake were slain of men seven thousand: and the remnant were affrighted, and gave glory to the God of heaven.
1Co 11:7 For a man indeed ought not to cover his head, forasmuch as he is the image and glory of God: but the woman is the glory of the man.
Ga 4:1 Now I say, That the heir, as long as he is a child, differeth nothing from a servant, though he be lord of all;1Jo 3:2 Beloved, now are we the sons of God, and it doth not yet appear what we shall be: but we know that, when he shall appear, we shall be like him; for we shall see him as he is.
1Jo 3:2 Beloved, now are we the sons of God, and it doth not yet appear what we shall be: but we know that, when he shall appear, we shall be like him; for we shall see him as he is.

flesh is flesh
Joh 3:6 That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit.
1Co 15:50 Now this I say, brethren, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God; neither doth corruption inherit incorruption.
51 ¶ Behold, I shew you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed,52 In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.
53 For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality.
54 So when this corruptible shall have put on incorruption, and this mortal shall have put on immortality, then shall be brought to pass the saying that is written, Death is swallowed up in victory.
55 O death, where is thy sting? O grave, where is thy victory?Ro 8:11 But if the Spirit of him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you, he that raised up Christ from the dead shall also quicken your mortal bodies by his Spirit that dwelleth in you.

Perfect clarity.
After Jesus' crucifixion He recreated a physical body to demonstrate to the unaware that humans can rise to heaven after their death to be like angels (i.e. being without physical bodies) in heaven (re. Mark: 12 verse: 25). This was for the benefit of even the disciples. They were unaware. The unaware always need signs which are physically discernible.
Mark: 12 verse:25 confirmed the following for those in Christ: For when they shall rise from the dead, they neither marry, nor are given in marriage; but are as the angels which are in heaven. (angels do not have physical bodies)
The unaware are always in need of signs which are physically discernible.
They ignore 2 Corinthians: 4 verses: 18: King James Bible
While we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen: for the things which are seen are temporal; but the things which are not seen are eternal. Jesus' physical body was temporal. It is 'seen'. His Spirit is eternal. It is not 'seen'.
After Jesus crucifixion and rise to heaven God sent Him back in His Spirit. God sent the Spirit of Jesus into the hearts of those under the law so that they might become adopted children of God (re. Galatians: 4 verses: 4 & 6). Jesus is now serving God and the few Christians, as the head of the body of Christ. Jesus is serving in His unseen Spirit. He will continue to serve, in this capacity for all eternity, in His Spirit.
It is clearly confirmed in 2 Corinthians: 3 verse: 17that now (i.e. for the past 2000 odd years), the Lord is that Spirit of Jesus and not Jesus in the flesh.
The disciples needed a physically detectable sign so Jesus recreated his physical body and so they (and other unaware people) could see Him rising to heaven. They would not know that He rose to heaven, if He did not do so in a physical body. This was solely for the edification of the unaware (i.e. the faithless). Once Jesus was out of sight He dissolve that physical body. Material things of earth do not enter heaven.
However Paul was able to detect Jesus in His Spirit when He was without a physical body. This was after Jesus died and rose to heaven and He was sent back in His Spirit. God sent Jesus back in His regenerated Spirit. God sent the regenerated Spirit of Jesus into the hearts of those under the law so that they might become adopted children of God.
Paul pick up this offer from God.

Oh thank you Omega. I have read the Bible from beginning to end more than once. I have studied far more passages than you present. I know the actual meaning of being born again. But I want to thank you for your kind concern. I know you mean well. Paul was eloquent but Paul was not Jesus.
I've been chasing my food! A Canis latrans is entitle to eat!
Your assertion that we will become like God is so ridiculous that it's not even worthy of a reply but I will say one last thing. Paul said that we would be conformed to Christ's image in order that He might be the "firstborn of many BRETHREN."
We will be like Jesus our BROTHER and not like God. This has reference to His immortal humanity and that's all. This means that we will assume His immortal image alone. Paul said that we will bear the image of the heavenly MAN,
"And as we have borne the image of the man of dust, we shall also bear the image of the heavenly MAN" 1 Corinthians 15:49 NKJV
You will NOT become like God. You will become a heavenly MAN. You will be conformed to Christ's image ONLY in reference to His glorified humanity.

Christ the seed that is the Holy Spirit in us that is our hope of glory is divinity, and this divinity is already in us (at least those who have the baptism of the Holy Spirit in us)!
When the fullness of Christ is formed from his seed that is in us, His divinity will be completed in us.
That will be the fulfillment of the high calling of Christ in us the hope of glory.
Anybody missing that needs to start all over again or as I said before, teachers who still need to be taught the foundational doctrines of Hebrew 6:1–2 because they have yet to learn their left hand from the right-hand!
Blessings

There is not one scripture which says that we will beome God. I givve a scripture which EXPLICITLY says that we will bear the image of the "heavenly MAN" and you don't accept it. One of us has been brainwashed and it ain't me.

GOD is uncreated.
We are created.
There will never come a time when we can affirm that we were not created or that we had no beginning.

Steko,
They're saying that Jesus is not uniquely God because we will become God too. This is how they understand our being conformed to Christ's image. But Paul was speaking about our assuming His glorified humanity. He said that we will bear the image of the "heavenly MAN." 1 Corinthians 15:49
Some people will say some pretty outrageous things to deny that Jesus is our only God.

It is not a case of when the vessel (a.k.a. body) was made but the origin of the spirit within it.
This applies to Jesus Christ as well. Jesus was never in existence until the Holy Spirit impregnated Mary, however, the spirit of Christ that was in Jesus is the sevenfold Spirit of God has always been in existence. (Isa.11:2)
The Holy Spirit that is in those who have been baptized with the Holy Spirit, have been given the “earnest” of the Holy Spirit that is the sevenfold Spirit of God. (2nd Cor.1:22; 2nd Cor.5:5)
The word “earnest” means partial payment (early rain) indicating the possibility of an increase of the balance remaining (latter rain) providing the conditions are warranted.
If the fullness of the Holy Spirit that is the fullness of Christ be in us the, the fullness of the divinity of God is in us. The apostles who had the mind of Christ did the works of Christ while Christians today with the mind of man only do the works of man, that do not include divine works because it takes the mind of Christ to do divine works.
This is why Paul says to the Christians “let this mind be in you that was in Christ Jesus” while he spoke of himself and the other apostles as having the mind of Christ. It was the mind of Christ that has always been in existance that is the presence of divinity and in the apostles that allowed them to do signs and wonders a.k.a. miracles.
However ther mind of man as found in the spirit of man, did not come to exist until after the fall
Blessings
