Scriptural Death: Separation, Never Scriptural Death: Separation, Never Annihalation! - June 25th, 2012, 07:37 PM

The Title of this Thread should read: "Scriptural Death: Separation, Never Annihalation!"

Most folks avoid conversations about 'Death' at all cost; but once Death is understood according to Scripture, Death loses a lot of its mystique and gruesomeness. . . this is especially true if you're "born again" and/or you're "in CHRIST" and know and understand that you'll never ever never get to experience death never ever again.

It is Written: "He is not the God of the dead, but the God of the living...(Mark 12:27a)"

The 3 Types of Death/Separation according to Scripture:

1) Spiritual Death/Separation (Sinner): You (Soul & Body/Flesh) separated from GOD (Genesis 2:16-17; 3:6-8; Ezekiel 18:4);

2) Physical Death/Separation (Graveyard Dead/Separated): You (Soul) separated from your Body/Flesh (Luke 16:22b-26);

3) Everlasting Death/Separation: (Hell/The Lake of Fire...) You (Soul & Body/Flesh) separated, FOREVER, from GOD (Isaiah 66:24; Mark 9:44,46,48)!

Strange to think that this is Heaven now for the unbeliever. Considering even now they are dead and separated from God spiritually, though they still abide in a realm of God's common grace. So any good they experience now is due to God's mercy still extending to the inhabitants of this earth. Frightening to think that those who take part in the second death, that even God's common grace will be void to them, leaving them totally cut off. No small comforts, not even water, or food or rest all provided as gifts from God to believer and unbeliever alike. They know not how blessed they are, that God allows the weeds to grow up with the wheat.

Exceptionally Well Put my sibling IN CHRIST!!! The following "It is written" comes to mind: "The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance. (2 Peter 3:9)"
