The $328,835 snapshots of an Air Force One backup plane buzzing lower Manhattan last week will not be shown to the public, the White House said yesterday.
"We have no plans to release them," an aide to President Obama told The Post, refusing to comment further.
The sole purpose of the secret photo-op, which sent thousands of New Yorkers running for cover, was to take new publicity shots of the presidential jet over the city.
"The photos . . . are classified -- that's ridiculous," Councilman Peter Vallone Jr., said.
The photos have not technically been "classified," a White House aide said, but they are being kept from public view.
New Yorkers said they could not understand how a president who shares intimate snapshots from the White House could justify keeping these secret.
"So we're not gonna see the fruits of this cruel joke?" said Frank Antonelli, 39, one of the Wall Street traders spooked by last week's flyover.
"I'm not surprised. Obama . . . wouldn't further all the bad publicity by putting out those pictures."
It's amazing the thing tele-prompters tell him to do. Wouldn't surprise me if they show up on a poster during re-election year. It's not like you can expect this administration to keep it's word about anything.

Exactly...How is Obama going to be told about a fly over? This was not his mistake, he apologized because he feels responsible. If it was Bush, he would have lied and said it was Osama Bin Ladens fault becuase he thought he had "weapons of mass destruction". The planes flew over the Verrazano Bridge, buzzed Lady Liberty's left ear, continued up the Hudson past Jersey City and then circled back toward Staten Island, federal officials said. The jets then completed two more loops as photographers aboard the F-16 took the world's most expensive snapshots.
Although the Air Force had permission for the 10 a.m. flyover, no one bothered to warn the people on the ground, and as the two jets hurtled toward lower Manhattan, many mistook Obama's plane for Osama's.
President Obama himself was not in the plane at the time, but the 747 flew so low that New Yorkers had no trouble reading the aircraft's insignia.
Dominick Caglioti, who works at the Mercantile Exchange in lower Manhattan, thought the planes were headed straight for his window. After learning it was all a photo op, he fumed.
"It's so stupid because they tell you about every fire drill, but they didn't tell us about this," he said.
Jillian Pizzarello, who also works at the Mercantile Exchange, said, "You don't do this to people down here after all we have been through."
Thousands of people were evacuated from buildings on both sides of the Hudson during the half-hour episode.

The fault is on the idiots who allowed this, I can't remember who exactly it was, but Obama wouldn't have allowed this. If he did, it was because he had to of been misinformed. Not even Regan would have let an air liner get that close to buildings.

Any would-be president of the U.S.A. with an Islamic name like "Barack Obama" should have been viewed with great suspicion from the start. The fact that it wasn't is proof positive that Obama supporters are either Muhammadans, collectivists, or idiots (idiots especially with regards to the truth about Islam and Muhammadans). A simple google search, coupled with an open-minded attitude towards information that is shared by non-Moslims who live in Islamic lands, by ex-Moslims, by Moslims who complain about Islamic law, and by non-Moslims whom Moslems have not managed to silence, using any of the following keywords, should make this point quite obvious to any serious inquirer into the truth of the matter:
