This animal was the church councilor for this girl. What makes the Christians such sick and despicable creatures that they could do this to a little girl?

Man charged with rape, attempted murder and arson after girl, 14, left fighting for life in Caroline Springs
UPDATE 5.51pm: A MAN accused of raping a teenage girl and setting her alight was tracked down through the victim's Facebook page, police allege.
Michael Tuano Hermogenes, 24, has been charged over a Caroline Springs house fire yesterday that left a 14-year-old girl fighting for her life.
The victim remains in a critical condition at the Royal Children's Hospital, with burns to up to 80 per cent of her body. She may have to have a foot amputated.
Mr Hermogenes allegedly claims he suffered memory loss and woke up naked on top of the bleeding and unconscious girl in her home.
He saw that the teen, who was also naked, was alive and dragged her into a bathroom, a police summary from Mr Hermogenes' remand hearing alleges.
Mr Hermogenes allegedly left to buy petrol, which he used to douse the injured girl "to kill her and destroy evidence" before igniting it and fleeing.
Police allege the victim went to school yesterday morning but left after getting a text message from a friend.
Her Facebook page and family members were checked to identify Mr Hermogenes as a suspect.
The police summary alleges Mr Hermogenes admitted taking food and alcohol to the girl's house.
They watched a movie, listened to music and took photos of each other.
"They accused stated he had a gap in his memory of events and stated he found himself naked and on top of the victim on her bed," police allege.
The remand hearing was held at the Alfred Hospital where Mr Hermogenes is being treated for his own burn injuries.
Police opposed him being granted bail on the grounds that he is a danger to the public and had no fixed address, having been sleeping in his car.
Mr Hermogenes, of Tarneit, is charged with attempted murder, rape, sexual penetration of ca child under 16, intentionally and recklessly causing serious injury, reckless conduct endangering life and aggravated burglary.
He was remanded in custody to return to court in August.

Some years ago I used to have Bible discussions (more like arguments really) with a couple of men, Joseph and John, who belonged to a local Pentecostal church near Tower Hill in London. I used to meet a lot of similar characters around a kind of "speakers' corner" near the Tower of London close to where I worked at the time. Once I chanced to meet there this young vulnerable looking teenage girl there who looked nervous and a bit frightened. I tried to make friends with her but one of these Pentecostal men (Joseph) intervened and ushered her away from me quickly.
Anyway, to cut a long story short, these two Pentecostal preachers were later charged with the murder of a young girl. It was in the newspapers. I feel sure that the one murdered was that nervous girl that I tried to talk to. It seems that the Pentecostals believe that everyone who joins their church must first have demons cast out of them. Apparently they had been beating her to drive out these demons. John had been jumping on her stomach (!) as she lay on the ground. Of course she died as a result.
I have always felt a sense of guilt that I didn't do more when I had the chance to try to help this vulnerable person who was involved with these crazy people.

Truly sickening.
I read another horrific one the other day about an evangelist preacher in the U.S who was molesting kids and then murdered his wife when she caught him in the act.
Truly demonic. Christianity seems just riddled with such characters, especially in their leadership and clergy, it seems to just be a magnet for them.

From my TV. They reported it in the news tonight. Another guy also burnt his "partner" alive at a petrol station in our city today too, and another lady jumped from an overpass onto a freeway, very sad day indeed.

I agree that this is a horrible set of events. I do think that many people hide behind Jesus for all the wrong things.

Yes, Christians sin. But the difference between Christians and Muslims is that our God condemns evil. Your pagan moon god Allah does not even exist. If I could show you one false teaching from Mohammed, would you renounce your pagan moon god and accept Jesus?

And the massively huge difference between this and similar events involving Muslims is you won't find any Christians defending what this guy did, nor will you find anything in what his church (or any other church...) teaches that encourages and could have prompted such behavior.
How did you determine that he was a church counselor, by the way? None of the articles I have read about this incident mention anything about that.

No Islamic teaching encourages this type of behavior, neither does Christianity; however, some of your fellow Christians who like to rip on the Catholic Church which you belong to, seem to thinK Catholicism encourages these type tings--I do not agree.
You won't find Muslims defending any rape etc. And if you do find one, then you know he is mentally ill, just as the Christian who did this to this girl, because our religions do not teach this kind of behavior. Please do not make false accusations.
I think the the events that took place were disgusting and un-Godly, and are an insult to any religion.
