As for me, I'm still sorting out the ressurection thing (1st & 2nd) and just exactly happens to saved and unsaved between natural death and their final abode in eternal life or eternal death.

One thing I do know (sort of) is that the devil being bound for 1000 years (the church age or New Covenant period lasting an unspecified time) would be the fact that he has not been allowed by God to deceive the nations into creating a one world government like as happened under Rome, Greece, Medo/Persia and Assyria (note in Daniel those are the only world kingdoms, none to follow the 4th). During the church age there is only one world potentate, the King of Kings and Lord of Lords, Jesus Christ. Jesus has him locked up at least as far as that favored activity of the devil is concerned.

Another thing I know is the nature of the saints ruling and reigning with Christ during the present church age. If we let scripture interpret scripture (novel idea, I know) we see that Jeremiah was told: "See, today I appoint you over nations and kingdoms to uproot and tear down, to destroy and overthrow, to build and to plant." (1:10) How did Jeremiah destroy and build nations? By prophesying what God would do to them. So ruling and reigning w/ Christ refers to the prophetic ministry of the church, which appearantly is not very active these days. I hate to even teach this for all the wackos like Letsargue who will go off speaking God knows what to the nations thinking they are doing God a favor and making an *** out of themselves in the process.
