Your one part....'believe', is not sufficient. The schoolmaster/law leads people to repent, because by it, is the KNOWLEDGE of sin; as Paul said.

When Jesus sent out the 12, He was putting the schoolmaster in force, through them...they were sent to bring a people to repentance, by the schoolmaster. How you can deny that is beyond me.

Paul rightly taught we are not under once we are in Christ; but he still established it as part of the gospel, as he said in rom 3...for whom it was made..to lead people to Christ. It is apparant that God sent the 12 out to lead a people to repentance:
Luke 24:47 And that repentance and remission of sins should be preached in his name among all nations, beginning at Jerusalem.

teaching that the law is a tool to bring people to Christ, is perverting the gospel? OK...I guess Jesus and Paul were perverted, too....all in all, I have to go with my own conscience on this, and that is what I will do.
