THE " FALLING AWAY " HEB 6:6 ?? - July 28th, 2011, 07:06 PM

Hi to all and the question of Loosing your salvation or " falling away " WILL always come up , especially where it is translated " falling away " in 2 Thess 2:3 .

In Heb 6:6 , " if they fall away , to renew them again to Repentance , since they Crucify again for themselves the Son of God , and put Him to an Open Shame .

A literal translation can read , R C Brock translation , " and they having , having fallen away , to renew them again to repentance , Crucifying to themselves and holding up a Comtemptible the Son of Man .

Why ???

Because the KJV and the NKJV use the wrong tense , " Shall fall away " ( KJV ) is in the Future Tense and " fall away " in the NKJV is in the Present Tense .

But the Greek text has this VERB as an Aorist Participle , " HAVING FALLEN AWAY " , Past Tense .

This word used only HERE in the so-called New Testament , takes us back to Acts 7 when the Nation REJECTED the Holy Spirit by killing Stephen .

This word also means " to committ apsotasy " . And this is what the Nation of Israel did in the book of Acts .

Then , Paul explaines what this fall meant , that GENTILES N O W can be saved under a brand new program revealed only to the apostle Paul in Rom 11:11-15 .

Why is it that all can never see that IF we could " fall away " no ONE could then be saved again .

#1 , There is no REPENTANCE .

#2 , Because Jesus can NEVER be crucified again !!

#3 , John 19:30 , says " it is finished " and the Perfect Tense means that Christ will never die for another person ever AGAIN !!!

#4 , The Greek word for " fall away " is PARAPITO , is the real word for " APOSTASY " in the so-called New Testament !!!

#5 , But to who is Heb 6:6 addressed to , but to Israel !!

#6 , WHY ?? Because we are saved by Grace !!

#7 , The word " renew " means to restore to a former condition and this implys that those who completely REJECTED the Messiah had lost their Covenantual position with God , and are cutoff from God , because of their UNBELIEF .

These verses in Heb 6:6 are not related to the Body of Christ !! dan p

Unfortunately the Bible that agrees with your tense argument makes it even more clear that your argument is incorrect.

Quote:
For it is impossible to renew to repentance those who were once enlightened, who tasted the heavenly gift, became companions with the Holy Spirit, tasted God's good word and the powers of the coming age, and who have fallen away, because, to their own harm, they are recrucifying the Son of God and holding Him up in to contempt. (Hebrews 6:4-6 Holman Christian Standard Bible)
The Jews you speak of never accepted the companionship of the Holy Spirit or the "coming age" so they don't meet the qualifications listed in verse 4 and 5 for verse 6 to apply to them. For verse 6 to apply to you you have to have accepted the new covenant and received the companionship of the Holy Spirit, only those of the Body of Christ can qualify.

The author is speaking of Blasphemy against the Holy Spirit which is the only sin Christ stated can not be forgiven (Matthew 12:31). In order to Blaspheme against the Holy Spirit you must have received it though and be familiar with what you are doing (sin is a willful act not an accident) remember Paul was among the group that martyred Stephen consenting to the act and he was later forgiven so they can't be the group Hebrews is speaking of.

Hi , and first the New Covenant is not in operation today , unless you can show that the New Covenant , Palestinian , Davidic and the Abrahamic ARE BEING USED BY THE NATION OF ISRAEL , and you will never be able to prove that ,

In Mark 3:29-30 lets all know " Because they said , He hath an unclean Spirit .

Only the Nation of Israel committed it , and can not be committed today , dan p

You claim to follow Christ don't therefore you are part of the Abrahamic Covenant read Galatians 3.

There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither bond nor free, there is neither male nor female: for ye are all one in Christ Jesus.

And if ye be Christ’s, then are ye Abraham’s seed, and heirs according to the promise.(Galatians 3:28-29 KJV)
Read your scriptures, while you do not have the same rules you are under the same covenant as all of Abraham's actual seed.

Typical-the battle of the bible correctors. Each one of them can eventually find a "version" that supports/validates/vindicates what they are trying to "prove." What's next-the back of an "Aunt Jemima" box?
