If marijuana is ever legalized, and Big Weed starts selling it in Spongebob themed packages, there will be a similiar outcry. Targeting addictive substances at kids is wrong in so many ways.

I don't think this legislation is justified, but there is little irony or hypocrisy in it.

As between a thing which will significantly raise the likelihood of your death or a thing that will significantly raise the likelihood of your making additionally poor choices I say why choose?

Keep pot illegal and outlaw tobacco in any form.
