God's Great Free Gift of Salvation for All of Humanity - February 12th, 2012, 11:47 AM

If I came came to your door with a million dollars in cash and said, "Here, its all your's." Would you take it?

God in the person of Jesus Christ offers much more than this, and it is free for the taking.

Catholics want you to believe that salvation is a gift that must be earned or deserved.

Calvinist want you to believe that salvation is a gift that has been given to some, but not all.

Romans 5:18 says, "Even so by the righteousness of one (Christ) the FREE GIFT came upon ALL MEN unto justification of life."

God's great free gift of salvation is available to all who want it. It cannot be earned or deserved (Catholicism) nor can it be imposed upon you (Calvinism) if it must be earned, deserved or imposed upon you then it is no longer a free gift.

There are no conditions for receiving God's great free gift of salvation. The only condition is that you accept it. If you don't accept it then it is not yours. It is just like handing you a million dollars, if you don't accept it, it is not yours.

What is God's great free gift of salvation?

Peter said that the gift of God is an inheritance that is uncoruptible and undefiled that will never fade away, reserved for us in heaven, 1 Peter 1:4. And then Peter described the gift of God as full of joy, unspeakable and full of Glory, 1 Peter 1:8.

Paul said, "Thanks be unto God for his unspeakable gift." 2 Corinthians 9:15. Paul is trying to tell us that the gift of God is so great that he is speechless, he can't describe it.

God's great free gift is Jesus Christ

All that Jesus Christ is and all that Jesus Christ has done is ours by faith. Jesus said, "I have come that you might have life, and that you might have it more abundantly," John 10:10. Jesus is the abundant life. He said, I am the way, the truth, and the life, John 14:6.

Religion is the way of death, Jesus is the way of life.

Religion is the rejection of God's great free gift of salvation that has been provided by Jesus Christ. Jesus didn't say, "I have come to show you the way," No, He said, "I am the way." God does not need your help to save you. Sinners cannot save sinners, nor can sinners save themselves. An infusion of grace didn't get it, you are still a sinner. God does not accept the work and the obedience of sinners.

The gift of God does not come by the way of religion. The Gift of God is totally and completely outside of us, it is so far outside of us that it is in heaven at the right hand of God.

Jesus Christ at the right hand of God is the gift of God

Paul said to the Colossians, "If you have been risen with Christ, seek those things which are above, where Christ sits at the right hand of God. Set you affections on things above, not on things on the earth. for you are dead and your life is hid with Christ in God," Colossians 3:1, 2, 3.

When God accepted Jesus into heaven we were accepted in him because our humanity was in him. We have been reconciled to God by the work and person of Jesus Christ, 2 Corinthians 5:18, 19. God now sees us as new creations in Jesus Christ, 2 Corinthians 5:17.

Jesus said, "Don't lay up treasure on earth, where moth and rust corrupts and thieves break in and steal, but lay up treasure in heaven. For where your treasure is, (The Gift) there will be your heart also," Matthew 6:19, 20, 21.

scripture says

Quote:
Romans 5:18 says, "Even so by the righteousness of one (Christ) the FREE GIFT came upon ALL MEN unto justification of life."
False pateism says

Quote:
God's great free gift of salvation is available to all who want it.
There is not one scripture that states this lie of pateism..

The free gift of the above stated verse is not said to be made available to all men who wants it, but that it came upon [as to be bestowed upon] all men unto Justification of Life. This means they were actually made partakers of the Divine Nature 2 Pet 1:3

3According as his divine power hath given unto us all things that pertain unto life and godliness, through the knowledge of him that hath called us to glory and virtue:

pateism is a false gospel, those who believe it are not wise..

Rom 2:28-29

28 For he is not a Jew, which is one outwardly; neither is that circumcision, which is outward in the flesh:

29 But he is a Jew, which is one inwardly; and circumcision is that of the heart, in the spirit, and not in the letter; whose praise is not of men, but of God.

Whosoever is thirsty let him drink FREELY of the water of life.

Whosoever will let them come.

But if they will not come, let them stop beefing about predestination.

The ones that are thirsty are those who have been born spiritually[by the Gift] and have been given a spiritual thirst, so this invite

Rev 22:17

And the Spirit and the bride say, Come. And let him that heareth say, Come. And let him that is athirst come. And whosoever will, let him take the water of life freely.

These are not offers to everyone without exception, but imperatives to specified groups.

Imperatives to do something are not offers..

So this cannot help your false gospel, and work salvation which is accursed !

Coming to the waters is the same as coming to the truth.

The truth is that you are a lost sinners in need of the salvation provided by Jesus Christ.

So the gospel is limited to those who are thirst. I agree.

The Gospel is available to all of humanity.

Jesus atoned for the sins of the world, 1 John 4:14. making salvation available to all who want to be saved.

You've changed your mind? I thought you were saying the gospel was for those who are thirsty. You are hard to keep track of

If Christ's atonement merely made salvation available, then it did not save anyone ! pateism teaches that Christ's atonement does not save !

If Jesus has tasted death for everyone, then everyone has the opportunity to be saved, Hebrews 2:9.

Salvation is available to all who want it. But God is not going to force you to accept it (Calvinism.) You can either accept it or you can reject it, the choice is yours.
