Now this is a very stupid thing to say.

Explain why on earth I should accept your interpretation of Logos as simply an idea when John says the Logos was with God and was God, that "without Him" was not anything made that was made and the Logos became flesh and dwelt among us

Only a muttonhead would deny that John is descibing a person and in the 14th verse he names the Person who he has been describing

"...and the Logos became flesh....full of grace and truth, the law came from Moses but grace and truth came from Jesus Christ."

The ORIGINAL Logos was not the greek interpretation but the Jewish interpretation Word.

that is not your problem. You ignore scriptures that upset your apple cart.

If you had read any of my posts on logos, you would realize how your trinity mangles scripture to the point of being unrecognizable as scriptural and scriptural logic.

God is the head of Christ because

1. God is superior to Christ

2. Christ is the son of God, not God

I will leave with those two, that is your milk for today

I can and do accept that the Father is Head of Christ, I also accept the reason for it.

"He who thought it not robbery to be co-equal with God humbled Himself" the Father did not humble Christ, He humbled Himself.

There are threads on John 1:1. I started one of them, why don't you answer my question on John 1:1. You can't because it would reveal the error of your interpretation.

God is the head of Christ.

It is that simple.

John's witness concerning the Logos as the Word of God by which God created this world and his testimony that this Word became flesh and is Jesus Christ is UNassailable....IMpregnable.

I like how this illustrates the Umbrella of God is the same size as Christ... This would make them equal in the same essence. Your illustration is flawed if your promoting Unitarianism

How about promoting God's Word:

I honour them both: John 5:23 Fellowship is with them both 1 John 1:3 as scripture teaches: The scripture I quoted was given to Paul from Jesus from Heaven Gal 1:12 So God's Son, Jesus Christ told Paul, that the head of Christ is God. I would think Jesus would know what He was speaking about.

If you don't believe me, maybe you believe the words of Jesus:

Gal 1:12 KJV
(12) For I neither received it of man, neither was I taught it, but by the revelation of Jesus Christ.

(1Co 11:3 KJV) But I would have you know, that the head of every man is Christ; and the head of the woman is the man; and the head of Christ is God.

This was given to Paul from Heaven from Jesus Christ:

2Co 5:17 Whoever is a believer in Christ is a new creation. The old way of living has disappeared. A new way of living has come into existence.

''Much of the Trinitarian deception is afforded by word trickery. It is a clever word game that uses the same words but shifts the definitions attached to those words; it is a game that shifts the concepts behind those letters''

"They will exploit you with well-turned words." (2 Peter 2:3).

2Co 11:3 But I fear, lest by any means, as the serpent beguiled Eve through his subtilty, so your minds should be corrupted from the simplicity that is in Christ.

There are a lot of stupid people in the world Gill. Their eyes are closed and they wonder why it is so dark.

You have pointed out a problem with the right hand illustration, seeing that God is greater than all.

John 10:28-29

"And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand.

29My Father, which gave them me, is greater than all; and no man is able to pluck them out of my Father's hand."

Therefore, the umbrella representing God should be larger than the umbrella representing Christ.

Another problem with the illustration, Is the husband greater than the wife?

For that matter, there is the matter of scale.

I estimate that in the illustration God is only about 50% bigger than the wife. Do you suppose that that is an accurate comparison?

The husband is about 80% of what God is?

God created the heavens and the earth. No husband, no human being has ever created anything.

Does man inhabit all eternity? Isaiah 57:15, God does

Hmmm, what are your thoughts on these matters?

oatmeal

"And they continued stedfastly in the apostles' doctrine and fellowship and in breaking of bread and in prayers." Acts 2:42

"For in death there is no remembrance of thee: in the grave who shall give thee thanks?" Psalm 6:5

I John 3:1-2. Prov 14:34 Psalm 133:1

Points taken:

Personally Oatmeal, these thoughts about the size of the umbrella did not occur to me, like it did you and One in Christ, and maybe some others.

I was basically showing from the illustration picture, who is the head/authority over Christ.

I took this picture on the left from Facebook, they quoted the scripture, but the head/authority over Christ was not in the picture, it was me who added the top umbrella to the picture, I copied and pasted it and added God.

In my mind, it's the words that are important, which says God has authority over Christ.

I was also pointing out to others, the ''words'' spoken in 1Co 11:3 GW was given from Jesus to Paul after ascending to Heaven.

1Co 11:3 GW
(3) However, I want you to realize that Christ has authority over every man, a husband has authority over his wife, and God has authority over Christ.

2Co 5:17 Whoever is a believer in Christ is a new creation. The old way of living has disappeared. A new way of living has come into existence.

Is this the trickery you are refering to?

"I will pray the Father and He will send Another Comforter who the world neither knows nor believes [you are of the world view then] but you know Him and He dwells with you and will dwell in you"

All the trickery and shifting and twisting comes when men and women who have not the indwelling Spirit of the Living God try to explain scriptures like this in intellectual terms.
