Are these different usages of the word "day"?

A DAY IS A DIVISION OF DARKNESS. There was never an intent for there to be DAYS, NIGHTS, OR SEASONS!! --- Galatians 4:10-11 KJV – “YE OBSERVE DAYS, AND MONTHS, AND TIMES, AND YEARS. 11- I AM AFRAID OF YOU, lest I have bestowed upon you labour in vain”. -----//-- Here there is no such foolishness!!!

---Gal. 4:16.

The English word “day” carries several different definitions.
1. The 23 hour 56 minute and 4 second period it takes for the Earth to complete one rotation.
2. Daytime, the period between sunrise and sunset.
3. A Geological Day, which can be hundreds of millions of years long.
4. Someone’s lifetime, such as: America was a much different place in Gorge Washington’s day.
The Hebrew word – יוֹם – yom also carries with it several definitions. In addition to the above definitions yom, and its plural form – יָמִים – yamiym, is also used to describe months, seasons and years in the Hebrew Scriptures. There is no singular, set in stone meaning for the word yom. A yom is a set period of time which CAN be one rotation of the Earth, but also many other lengths of time.
At the beginning of the ages of creation there was nothing but darkness, therefore darkness existed before light as is verified by B’réshiyt 1:3:
וַיֹּאמֶר אֱלֹהִים יְהִי אוֹר וַיְהִי־אוֹר׃
Vayyoʾmer ʾĔlohiym y’hiy ʾor vay’hiy-ʾor:
“And God said: ‘There shall be light,’ and light came to pass.”
In verse 4 God sets the separation between darkness and light. In verse 5 he names them:
“And God named the light daytime (definition 2 above), and named the darkness nighttime; evening came to pass, then morning came to pass, one time period (closest to definition 3 above).”
This sets the standard for the “day” (one rotation of the Earth) beginning in the evening, or nighttime. Darkness came first followed by light; nighttime comes first followed by daytime.
The Egyptians and Babylonians were the only cultures in that area of the World who began their new days at sunrise. The reason for this is because their respective Sun gods were the primary gods in their pantheons. This was never the case for any inhabitants of the land of Canaan, including Hebrews, all of whom began their days at sunset. The Roman Empire initiated the midnight to midnight day, and prior to the Roman Empire inhabitants of the Italian area began their days at noon.
Rotation is required to establish and maintain a functional atmosphere, and since the atmosphere was not created until the second creative age, it would suggest that Earth began rotating during the second age as well. Did the Earth complete one rotation in 23:56:04 as it does now? Very doubtful as there was as yet no land mass to slow it down.
Even though the Earth was rotating at this time, there was not any existing reference point which could be used to measure time, and in fact time itself and the methods of measuring it were not created until the fourth creative age. Time, as it is now known on the planet Earth, simply did not exist prior to the fourth age of creation, nor could it have. And there was noone here to measure it until the sixth age of creation.
