Matthew 13:18-23 (New International Version)
1) Parable of the sower:
Quote:
:
18"Listen then to what the parable of the sower means: 19When anyone hears the message about the kingdom and does not understand it, the evil one comes and snatches away what was sown in his heart. This is the seed sown along the path. 20The one who received the seed that fell on rocky places is the man who hears the word and at once receives it with joy. 21But since he has no root, he lasts only a short time. When trouble or persecution comes because of the word, he quickly falls away. 22The one who received the seed that fell among the thorns is the man who hears the word, but the worries of this life and the deceitfulness of wealth choke it, making it unfruitful. 23But the one who received the seed that fell on good soil is the man who hears the word and understands it. He produces a crop, yielding a hundred, sixty or thirty times what was sown."
When we are half hearted believers we will not produce any fruit but wholehearted ones produce abundantly.
I will be back with many more of course, I have to go now.
Luke 18 KJV
(22) Now when Jesus heard these things, he said unto him, Yet lackest thou one thing: sell all that thou hast, and distribute unto the poor, and thou shalt have treasure in heaven: and come, follow me.
Matthew 19 KJV
(21) Jesus said unto him, If thou wilt be perfect, go and sell that thou hast, and give to the poor, and thou shalt have treasure in heaven: and come and follow me.
Have you sold all that you have and given it to the poor, Meshak?
Matt. 23:14 ¶ “But woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! Because you shut up the Kingdom of Heaven against men; for you don’t enter in yourselves, neither do you allow those who are entering in to enter.
Matt. 23:27 ¶ “Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! For you are like whitened tombs, which outwardly appear beautiful, but inwardly are full of dead men’s bones, and of all uncleanness.
Matt. 23:28 Even so you also outwardly appear righteous to men, but inwardly you are full of hypocrisy and iniquity.

1. Salt and light
Matthew 5:13-16 (New International Version)
Quote:
13"You are the salt of the earth. But if the salt loses its saltiness, how can it be made salty again? It is no longer good for anything, except to be thrown out and trampled by men.
14"You are the light of the world. A city on a hill cannot be hidden. 15Neither do people light a lamp and put it under a bowl. Instead they put it on its stand, and it gives light to everyone in the house. 16In the same way, let your light shine before men, that they may see your good deeds and praise your Father in heaven.
How are we doing in this department? I don't believe we are doing such a good job being salt and light of the world. On the contrary, we seem to be well known as hypocrites.
How are we being hypocrites? by killing our enemy like the rest of the world by disobeying Jesus' command of love your enemy.
Being hypocrites is not being salt and light of the world.
You know that distortion and twist, wasn't a command given to all believers but an instruction to me one man.
I'm pretty sure you bright enough to know that too.

Is the only way you back up your theological positions is little word traps, and twists that really don't support what you are claiming.
Its obvious that if you read the whole gospel this was a time and place limited instruction of Jesus, and it does not mean that all Jesus teaching is no irrelevant as you insinuate.
Why do you knowingly twist the scriptures so?

2. Matthew 5:17-20 (New International Version)
The fulfilment of the law
Quote:
17"Do not think that I have come to abolish the Law or the Prophets; I have not come to abolish them but to fulfill them. 18I tell you the truth, until heaven and earth disappear, not the smallest letter, not the least stroke of a pen, will by any means disappear from the Law until everything is accomplished. 19Anyone who breaks one of the least of these commandments and teaches others to do the same will be called least in the kingdom of heaven, but whoever practices and teaches these commands will be called great in the kingdom of heaven. 20For I tell you that unless your righteousness surpasses that of the Pharisees and the teachers of the law, you will certainly not enter the kingdom of heaven.
We see that most Christian communities are washing down the Commandments because it is not popular to follow them. We are so spoiled that it is very hard to keep God's commandments.
So they bash everyone who preach to be obedient Jesus' commandments to keep them silent.
