I believe there will be a usurpation of what is now the Catholic church and it will become the one world government. The first martyrs of the great persecution will not be protestants but catholics [many, many] who resist it.

Believe it or not, I can agree with you on this Totton. I don't believe in the idea of an anti-pope, or obviously that the Church itself is the anti-Christ, but I can believe the possibility of a usurpation. And that there will be many, many martyrs. Indeed.
Indeed, it appears that Nick gets it: the vast majority of humanity have been, are now, and will remain, outside the Body of Christ.
That's right (Mt 7:14) and your decision will grieve others (Re 7:17). You get the deer in the headlights for a lifetime award.
O Jerusalem, Jerusalem, thou that killest the prophets, and stonest them which are sent unto thee, how often would I have gathered thy children together, even as a hen gathereth her chickens under her wings, and ye would not!
Behold, your house is left unto you desolate [Matt. 23:37–38].
"Jerusalem rejected Him in His so-called triumphal entry, and He has rejected Jerusalem, but now He weeps over this city. Yes, He denounced them, but He does love them. And knowing the judgment which must come, He weeps.
The statement was made in Dwight L. Moody’s day that he was the only man living who should preach on hell because he did it with such compassion. And certainly our Lord pronounced these woes with a heart that was breaking. You remember that some of the people thought he was Jeremiah because, although Jeremiah gave the strongest denunciation in the Old Testament, he wept over it. I am of the opinion that we today should not make denunciations unless we are personally moved by them." McGee, J. Vernon: Thru the Bible Commentary. electronic ed. Nashville : Thomas Nelson, 1997, c1981, S. 4:123
Only considered if he gives all of us a "pope mobile," and free fish on Fridays.
Will that be fried? Chips too?
Psalm 1[/color] and Job 28:28
Rev 22:14 Blessed are they that do his commandments, that they may have right to the tree of life, and may enter in through the gates into the city.
Joh 4:23 "But an hour is coming, and now is, when the true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and truth; for such people the Father seeks to be His worshipers.
Who are these alleged "others" that my decision will "grieve"? Name names.
Family, friends--people who care about you. When they say goodbye to you one day, they will grieve because of your decision. There is no reason to remain rebellious. You are knowledgeable but you remain a high-handed sinner.
Do you have family or friends who are Christians? Have they already begun moving away from you? Lk 16:26

When the Catholic Church gets the nod to bring in the “Christians” to the world religion stage, that will start the real persecution of the church of God's born again believers.
Mary being a perpetual virgin – Mark 6:3 points out that Jesus had brothers and sisters. Salvation through the church only – When the Roman road has another way. Worship of the wafer god – That was the words of Jack, not me, and it points out that Catholics belief that Jesus is in the wafer. Priestcraft Hierarchy – Again Jack’s words. 1 Peter 2:5-9 tells us that all believers are priests, the curtain of the temple was torn in two by Jesus, Hebrews 4:14-16 tells us that Jesus is our high priest, and 1 Timothy 2:5 tells us that Jesus is the only mediator between God and man. Infant Baptism – Acts 2:38 tells us to repent and be baptized and infants don’t know right from wrong in order to repent. Prayer to saints – The Bible never instructs to pray to saints or to have dead saints pray for us and Hebrews 4:16 tells us that we can go directly to God’s throne. Others - Bowing to idols, confession to a priest instead of God, forbidden to marry and repetition in prayer.
i groaned inwardly when i read Jack Chick... He is the absolute LAST person to get info on Catholicsim from
dont have much time but
one thing: Jesus did NOT have bro and sisters by MARY and Joseph...
The Hebrew language had no word for Cousins so cousins were called brothers/sisters... Also, some think that Joseph may have been married b4 when he married Mary... In any case, if the Church Christ foiunded teaches Mary was always a virgin (and it does of course) then we can accpet that... But even if the Church was silent on this... (glad it is not)
it just stands to reason that Mary would have to be pure (dedicated to GOD alone) She was a temple virgin... from what i have gathered... dedicated to virginity and to God alone...
her womb had to be absolutely PURE to have GOD in it..
she was conceived in the normal way, yet without original sin... Jesus saved her before she was conceived... Surely God is capable of such??
i mean, she wasn't the 1st human conceived w/o original sin (Adam and Eve were)
i guess that's enough 4 now, esp since i didnt finish reading your post...

That's a new one on me, Mary never sinned? Then why did she need salvation? In Luke 1:47 she called God her savior.

Given that, according to Chick, The Catholic Church created Islam,
Communism, too, and homosexuality. Darn those athiest Muslim homosexual papist Catholics! I have to say, Chick tracts are among the most interesting things to read. I think I've seen most of them.
Here's a few of his more interesting claims...
Here are just a few things you will "learn" if you start reading Chick tracts and comic books:
The Catholic Church keeps "the name of every Protestant church member in the world" in a "big computer" in the Vatican for use in future persecutions.[1]
But the conspiracy is much broader than this, and it has been going on for a very long time. In the sixth century, for instance, Catholic leaders manipulated the Arabian tribesman Mohammed into creating the religion of Islam to use as a weapon against the Jews and to conquer Jerusalem for the pope.[2]
The Jesuits instigated the American Civil War, supporting the Confederate cause and seeking to undermine the Union. When they failed, they arranged the assassination of Abraham Lincoln.[3] Later, they formed the Ku Klux Klan.[4]
"Jesuits worked closely with Marx, Engels, Trotsky, Lenin, and Stalin" to create Communism, and it was "believed that soon . . . Communism would rise up as the new strong daughter of the Vatican."[5] It was Rome that instigated the Bolshevik Revolution and the murder of the czar's family.[6] The Communist "liberation theology" movement also is a Vatican plot.[7]
The Nazi Holocaust of the 1940s was a Vatican-controlled attempt to exterminate Jews and heretics.[8] Further, "Hitler, Mussolini, and Franco were backed by the Vatican for the purpose of setting up a one-world government to usher in the '˜Millennial Kingdom' under Pope Pius XII."[9]
The Vatican conspiracy is so extensive that, through the Jesuits, Rome controls the Illuminati, the Council on Foreign Relations, international bankers, the Mafia, the Club of Rome, the Masons, and the New Age movement.[10]
The Jesuits created the Jehovah's Witnesses, Mormonism, Unity, Christian Science, and other religious groups.[11]
"Pope John Paul II has been a good Communist for many years"[12] and engineered a phony assassination attempt against himself in 1981 to shame Islam into warming relations with the Vatican, since the would-be killer was a Muslim.[13]

Very true. I demonstrated this way back in Post #4, but monkey's pretending that the information I posted doesn't exist. It's the only way that he can continue clinging to such laughably ridiculous anti-Catholic cliches, stereotypes, and misrepresentations.

The one who moved away was me: I've neither seen nor spoken to a member of my family in almost three decades. I don't even know which of them are alive or dead, and am not particularly interested in finding out.
