Reject Christ's Gospel And Go To Hell - May 5th, 2012, 06:18 AM

The Gospel is our only means of salvation. The justice of God's Holy Law must be satisfied. Sin must be dealt with. No one is going to heaven that has not been justified by the life, death and resurrection of Jesus Christ.

Paul said that he received this Gospel directly from Jesus Christ.

"But I certify you brethern that the Gospel which was preached of me is not after man. For I neither received it of man, neither was I taught it, BUT BY THE REVELATION OF JESUS CHRIST." Galatians 1:11, 12.

The Gospel is the means that God used to reconcile the world unto himself, 2 Corinthians 5:18, 19.

The Gospel is the means that God used to Justify the ungodly, Romans 4:5.

The Gospel is the means that God used to overcome and defeat sin, death and the devil, Colossians 2:15.

THERE IS NO SALVATION OUTSIDE OF THE GOSPEL.

Religion does not justify. Sinners cannot save sinners, nor can sinners save themselves.

Salvation must come to us totally and completely outside of ourselves and it has in the person of Jesus Christ.

"Therefore as by the offense of one (Adam) judgment came upon ALL MEN to condemnation; even so by the righteousness of one (Christ) the FREE GIFT came upon ALL MEN unto justification of life. For as by one man's disobedience (Adam) many were MADE sinners so by the obedience of one (Christ) shall many be made righteous." Romans 5:18, 19.

This is the Gospel. This is how God justifies the ungodly. This is how God reconciles the world unto himself. This is how Jesus Christ has overcome the world, the flesh and the devil.

"To declare, I say, at this time HIS RIGHTEOUSNESS that he might be just, and the justifier of him that believes in Jesus." Romans 3:26.

God takes the life, death and resurrection of Jesus Christ and applies it to humanity. If you are a Christian this life is your life. If you are a Christian this death is your death. If you are a Christian this resurrection is your resurrection.

If you are a Christian God has hid your life with Christ in God, Colossians 3:3. God does not see you anymore. When he looks at you all that he can see is his Son Jesus Christ. You are in Christ and Christ is in heaven.

Religion is a denial of the Gospel. If you are trusting in anything other than the Gospel for your salvation you are lost. Eating wafers and drinking grape juice will not save you. Chanting, doing beads, prayers, confessions, THINGS THAT YOU DO (religion) will not save you, and are a denial of the Gospel.

Jesus told the apostles to go into the world and preach the Gospel to every creature, Mark 16:15.
