Let me fix that for you:
The Roman Catholic sect's (not the church's) Magisterium (aka false teachers) defines doctrinal orthodoxy (aka damnable heresies) for believers (aka the prey)

1But there were false prophets also among the people, even as there shall be false teachers among you, who privily shall bring in damnable heresies, even denying the Lord that bought them, and bring upon themselves swift destruction.

7 Therefore, ye shepherds, hear the word of the Lord;
8 As I live, saith the Lord God, surely because my flock became a prey, and my flock became meat to every beast of the field, because there was no shepherd, neither did my shepherds search for my flock, but the shepherds fed themselves, and fed not my flock;

Sorry, but your imaginary conspiracy theory just doesn't line up with the historical facts, as has already been shown. But you don't really care about all that, do you. You're only interested in the laughably ahistorical and oft-refuted scenario concocted by your favored sectarian anti-Catholic religious tradition.

Yes, there are always those who attempt to promote false teachings in the Church (Arius, Pelagius, and Martin Luther all come to mind). And who authoritatively determines what is a heresy and what is not?---the Magisterium (teaching office made up of the apostles and their ordained successors, the bishops) of Christ's historic Church, not individual laymen such as yourself. That's why your statement at the top of this post is so sad---you actually believe that your opinions about what constitutes true and false doctrine carry some sort of binding authority for Christians, a notion that is both unbiblical and unhistorical.

No, I equate with full knowledge such heretics as Origen, Jerome, and Augustine with the false teachers of the Magisterium.

Honestly, who cares? What binding authority do you possess that would compell anyone to pay the least bit of attention to your opinion regarding who is supposedly a "heretic" or "false teacher"? Of course, the glaring answer is that you have no authority whatsoever to make theological decisions on behalf of other believers. Indeed, it is the Magisterium of Christ's historic Church that bears the Christ-given authority to define doctrinal orthodoxy for believers, not individual laymen like yourself.
Hate to break it to you, gen-o, but Christ's historic Church is not now, nor has it ever been, a democracy. You just don't get a vote. The apostles (the original Magisterium) never asked lay believers for their opinions on which teachings were orthodox and which were not. Likewise with their ordained successors, the bishops (the present Magisterium). Guess you'll just have to deal with that fact. (Or not.)

I have the exact same "binding" authority that any of the teachers in the Roman Catholic sect has, and it was granted to me by the exact same source.
Your problem is that you think there is an authoritative difference between "professional" believers and "laymen" believers.

Already refuted (Post #281).

Your problem is that you assume otherwise (Mt. 16:18-19; 28:18-20; Lk. 10:16; Ac. 16:4; Rom. 16:17; 1 Cor. 12:28; 2 Cor. 5:20; 1 Thess. 4:8; 1 Tim. 3:15; Titus 2:15; 1 Jn. 4:6).
