God Justly divorced Israel of the flesh, for fornicating with Baal.
He expects we follow His example.
In this fashion, it is shown that it is not acceptable, and it is shown that those who make it 'fashionable', or remain in it, really are hard of hearing.
Put away that fornicator. A loveless marriage is nothing but bondage.
In my estimation you are wrong. I will explain why publically if you wish.

That's ok with me, but I am not likely to agree.
There is no purpose for a loveless marriage...when the person who does not love is a fornicator. God put Israel away for it, and He did so for good reason, mho.

Love is not about if you are married or not. Love is about doing what God wants you to do. It is about caring for the other person regardless of if they care for you.
A married person is bound to the law regarding marriage that they be faithful all their days. When a spouse dies the person is freed from that law. They are not unfaithful to be married to someone else now that their spouse is not around (permanently). Some would never marry again after losing their spouse, and that is fine.
People fall in and out of love, it is said. But that is to say that we are sometimes fickle and maybe didn't understand love and marriage to begin with. This is no excuse to jettison the relationship. But we can come to understand what is involved in marriage, and approach it with a heart after God. Let our yes be yes (faithfulness) and no no (do not become an adulterer). Let a couple be married until death do them part.

There is an option in marriage, when the 'other' person has committed fornication. Divorce.
God Himself divorced Israel for it.
He also said we are not bound to a mate who is a fornicator.
I agree that when the fornication is repented of, or if they truly are sorry, that we should forgive them, and, remain in the marriage, but if they want to continue down their path, we are free to let them, without ourself, being there, that is.

I don't know your situation.
Jesus said that Moses permitted men to divorce their wives in the case of _____.

Which verse are you talking about? I am familiar with these:
Romans 11:22 Behold then the kindness and severity of God; to those who fell, severity, but to you, God's kindness, if you continue in His kindness; otherwise you also will be cut off.
Romans 11:23 And they also, if they do not continue in their unbelief, will be grafted in, for God is able to graft them in again.
Romans 11:24 For if you were cut off from what is by nature a wild olive tree, and were grafted contrary to nature into a cultivated olive tree, how much more will these who are the natural branches be grafted into their own olive tree?
Romans 11:25 For I do not want you, brethren, to be uninformed of this mystery—so that you will not be wise in your own estimation—that a partial hardening has happened to Israel until the fullness of the Gentiles has come in;
Romans 11:26 and so all Israel will be saved; just as it is written, "THE DELIVERER WILL COME FROM ZION, HE WILL REMOVE UNGODLINESS FROM JACOB."
Romans 11:27 "THIS IS MY COVENANT WITH THEM, WHEN I TAKE AWAY THEIR SINS."
Deuteronomy 10:12 (KJV) And now, Israel, what doth the LORD thy God require of thee, but to fear the LORD thy God, to walk in all his ways, and to love him, and to serve the LORD thy God with all thy heart and with all thy soul,

Rom 11:20, 21 Good! By unbelief they were broken off, and you stand by belief. Do not be arrogant, but fear. For if Elohim did not spare the natural branches, He might not spare you either.
YeshaYahu (Isaiah) 8:20: To the Torah and to the witness! If they do not speak according to this Word, it is because they have no daybreak.
1st Kepha (Peter) 4:11: If anyone speaks, let it be as the Words of Elohim. If anyone serves, let it be as with the strength which Elohim provides, so that Elohim might be praised in it all through יהושע (Yahu'Shua) Messiah, to whom belong the esteem and the rule forever and ever. Amĕn.

They can be grafted in again.
Then what is this statement that God divorced them.

I was just filling in a blank. But really, the entire Book of Romans is ONE LETTER. "Statement"(s) don't even begin to allow proper explanations. And to get a proper determinations of what is what in Romans, one must understand that Paul is speaking to gentiles yes, but most were scaterred Israeli's that already basically knew what was in Torah, but had been away from it for a while. And the other class of gentiles which are undistinguishable from the gentiles scaterred out from Israel are there with them. Some gentiles referred to in Scriptures are scaterred from the Tribes of Israel. And the rest are from other "nations", and those were entertaining the possibility of joining together WITH the Israeli's, to worship Yahuweh, "with one shoulder". Which by the way, is still yet to come. Granted, this doesn't answer your question, but it is more my intent to have you find it with Yahuweh anyway. What were they really saying? Who exactly were they talking to? Most of them who the Discipled spoke to, were gentiles, but of Israeli heritage. Just like when the Bible in the NT speak of "the Jews", they MOSTLY are speaking of the Religious Hierarchy OF the Jews, i.e., the Southern Kingdom, which they were abiding in most of the time. Except for Paul, which went out to find the scaterred ones. The Bible is all about Israel, and those who choose to join WITH them, "to worship Yahuweh". The only thing they got to change besides all the falsehoods, are to come to belief in their Messiah. But what we have to change, is a whole lot too...to be able to "join" to worship Yahuweh, "with one shoulder". Israel doesn't give up all that Yahuweh gave them, we give up all we got out of ourselves, to join with them if that is, we are ever going to see that one shoulder service. If we don't...then we won't. If they don;t change, then they won't. Paul seems to be talkikng about a future event were they are offerred forgiveness, when they CAN believe, and so be, re grafted in. See, how does one come into a covenant, if they have no idea what the provisions of that covenant are? THEY DON'T. That needs to be understood. And the provisions are yet to come. Just like back in the day. We got the basics, but "redemption draws nigh". That means it has not come yet if we are to be looking for it. That whole chapter is to avoid the big headed garbage and to come to worship Yahuweh "with one shoulder". The whole Bible is about that. It will happen, when redemption IS HERE. When Yahu'Shua is here, and nobody can screw up without the Rod of Iron straightening them out. What we are to be about today is straigtening ourselves out to avoid the "stripes" of that Rod. Israel will have their proper place, and ALL the Nation will worship Yahuweh with one shoulder, or they will suffer the written consequences, like, "no rain". Think about that for a minute, "no rain". How about, no good rain? Like no rain at all. Like too much rain. Like rain that causes harm. Or flood. Or mudslides. Or the ground to polute the water. But I tell you this, when these things come, they won't be happening in Israel where the King of Kings lives! They will only happen to those who still think they can say "we are not under the law". For those are the divorced ones. They are on all sides of the poisonous religionous spectrums. Oh, I forgot, how 'bout ice rain?
Well, that wasn't much help, but you can figure it out properly, with Yahuweh.
Amĕn.

I learned the hard way not to judge as the flesh does, (like you do).
Let God judge who is and who is not His.
Salvation is a free gift to all who believe.
Believing is not based on understanding every form of doctrine, as some make it out to be, (yourself included)..it is by faith, and that faith is hope in things YET unseen.
We do not get saved by knowledge, we get saved by accepting a free gift, and THEN He comes to give us increase. You have it all backwards and upside down, and have judged me as evil, for your own evil motives. I still love you, and you cannot change it.
