Deuteronomy 10:12 (KJV) And now, Israel, what doth the LORD thy God require of thee, but to fear the LORD thy God, to walk in all his ways, and to love him, and to serve the LORD thy God with all thy heart and with all thy soul,

this is how you twist my word, I did not say good works, I said obeying Jesus' commandments. There is a huge difference.
I pray that you change your heart to understand Jesus' simple words, and not muddying them up.
As long as you muddying up the way you do, you will not grow in the Lord. This is very typical of main streamers. They make His simple messages to twist around and muddy them up.
I know you dont care about it but I know what is behind this kind of man-made muddied up doctrines.

My assumption was that you would see obeying Jesus' commandments to be doing good works.
I know they are not bad works.
But it seems you have something against good works in favor of doing Jesus' commandments.
Deuteronomy 10:12 (KJV) And now, Israel, what doth the LORD thy God require of thee, but to fear the LORD thy God, to walk in all his ways, and to love him, and to serve the LORD thy God with all thy heart and with all thy soul,

I am not here to win them over. I am here to spread the true messages of Jesus which mainstream churches have disgraced and misrepresenting Him.
We have responsibility to spread the whole truth, correcting what they distorted with their practice and doctrines to the world.
They will not listen to the truth, I am spreading to the world, friend. I dont debate with them. I have confident of my convictions.
Meshak, I have given you the words of Jesus to prove to you that salvation is not by the law. That friend is what most folks believe, and they are right. But that is no excuse from not keeping his commandments, you are correct there.
Peace
Psalm 1[/color] and Job 28:28
Rev 22:14 Blessed are they that do his commandments, that they may have right to the tree of life, and may enter in through the gates into the city.
Joh 4:23 "But an hour is coming, and now is, when the true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and truth; for such people the Father seeks to be His worshipers.

But you say obeying Jesus' commandments is not good enough to save anyone.
This is denying Jesus' Lordship. And it is wicked.
You are muddying up Jesus' simple word like the rest of trin believers.

I take it, but I already knew that.

Yes, but not as a condition for salvation friend.
Read the words of Jesus in Matthew 5.
Commandment breakers would be the least in his kingdom, but they would be there.
Peace

You dont love Jesus.
I love Jesus and keep His commandments.
When Jesus saved me, I was a sinner. He rescued me from my sin. There is no getting better so that He can save me. There is only He saved me and I love Him for it.

Mainstream churches have been spread the gospel that you dont have to obey Jesus' commandments to be saved.
This is not true because Jesus tells us to keep His commandments. Their cheap grace is accomodating ungodly witnessing to the world becaseu of this wicked gospel.
True Christians will never say you dont have to obey Jesus to be saved. His commandments are noble and super high standard but it is for our own good. He knows what is good for all of us.
God is Holy and righteous and above all loving: Jesus expects all His followers to be holy and righteous too. He is teaching us how to do it in His word, the books of Matthew, Mark, Luke and John. Jesus teachings are not complicated at all. It is just hard practice if we are not aiming to be loving all around us.
He wants us to love God and love our neighbor including, our enemies, as ourselves. And He is explaining how to do it.
When Jesus saved me, I was a sinner. He rescued me from my sin. There is no getting better so that He can save me. There is only He saved me and I love Him for it.
Amen! And if you don't get better your sins are still forgiven and remembered no more! Hebrews 8:12
When Jesus saved me, I was a sinner. He rescued me from my sin. There is no getting better so that He can save me. There is only He saved me and I love Him for it.
You are spreading lie to the world. It is so selfish of you.

Meshak, there is absolutely no sense in telling yourself or any one to follow if they don't have His Spirit. It is putting the cart before the horse. Only Jesus perfectly fulfilled the law. If they have Him, you don't have to tell them. Belonging to Him, they want to already. We then can encourage one another to do what we already should want to do. "There is therefore, now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus."

Do you see this simple and clear logic?
Yes, but you have to be saved FIRST.
The carnal man can do nothing without God. That means one must FIRST BE SAVED, RECEIVE THE HOLY SPIRIT THAT ENABLE US TO OBEY, FROM LOVE.
Your flesh cannot work it up, to save you.
You call the truth a lie...which I find very sad, and I am praying for you.
