Yeah, they are. When they're denied a basic civil right that counts as marginalization, punishment, degradation--call it whatever you like. The idea isn't "novel" and sooner rather than later a majority of Americans will support gay marriage. It's bigots like you who are on the wrong side of history. Bigots always are.

That is exactly how I look at many topics. We live in America where all beliefs are to be respected even when in opposition to each other. We should let judgment come at death from God and not be codified into laws written by men.

We don't want to see what they do in their bedrooms. We just want to watch a nice normal funny tv show.
I love watching Modern Family with the large family and the older man with a Latino wife and then all of a sudden they bring their bedrooms to our bedroom by surprise:
Yikes, I change my channel and watch my favourite actress Sally Fields on Brothers and Sisters. We get so deep into the political couple and then all of a sudden my children gets surprised with Kissing scene in our very own living rooms:
By next year, half the shows will be uninvited.
Soon we'll have to give ourselves parental control on tv and throw away the password.
