Maaan! You guys are stiffnecked!
I am sorry that you cannot answer my question.

Since you say that Jesus thought he was/is God, and we are to let the mind which was in Christ Jesus be in us,

How do you apply that?

Do you think you are God too?

Do you think of yourself equal with God?

Did you take on the form of a servant?

Did you shed you Godness to become a human?

Is that what Jesus thought? Then that is what Philippians 2:5 says we are to think.

Is that what you think?

Or is your assumptions about what you think Philippians 2:6-10 teaches need some rethinking?

1Jo 3:1 Behold, what manner of love the Father hath bestowed upon us,
that we should be called the sons of God:
therefore the world knoweth us not, because it knew him not.

1Jo 3:2 Beloved, now are we the sons of God,
and it doth not yet appear what we shall be:
but we know that, when he shall appear,
we shall be like him; for we shall see him as he is.

1Co 2:7 But we speak the wisdom of God in a mystery, even the hidden wisdom,
which God ordained before the world unto our glory:

Lu 8:17 For nothing is secret, that shall not be made manifest;
neither any thing hid, that shall not be known and come abroad.

Mt 10:26 For there is nothing covered, that shall not be revealed; and hid, that shall not be known.

Lu 12:2 For there is nothing covered, that shall not be revealed; neither hid, that shall not be known.

Eph 3:5 Which in other ages was not made known unto the sons of men,
as it is now revealed unto his holy apostles and prophets by the Spirit;

After having run into some other programming glitches, I must withdraw that comment.

He did not do that on purpose.

It is a programming glitch.

I have been tempted to allow those glitches to frustrate me.

I don't know if Keypurr will straighten you out for your arrogance, but once again, for the third time. Keypurr proved you wrong, not me (fill-in-the-blank word for not too quick on the uptake).

I did and you err.

Read what I wrote, I stand by that.

I cannot and will not recant, so help me God.

Lon,

the difference between you and I is that I actually believe what is written.

Take I Timothy 2:5

God is God

Men are men

our mediator is the man Christ Jesus

I believe what is written.

Jesus Christ is a man, actually, THE MAN.

God's right hand man.

You probably grew up in a trin environment and never even considered that what you were taught might have even a little error in it.

Well, I have found from scripture that the trinity is basically completely erroneous.

It is the result of Christians not leaving behind their pagan gods.

There is more to it than that, but that is the essence of it.

Maybe you can do what only one trin has done. I asked for a definition of the trinity in one of my threads. Only one person answered, but not in the thread I was asking for it in.

Why is that? Why can't trins define their beliefs in their own words?

Maybe you can provide in your own words what you believe is an accurate definition of the trinity, in say 30 words or so.

What is it that you actually believe?

What is it that you believe scripture teaches about God and His son?

If you really believe your definition to be accurately scripturally, why not start a thread with it?

See where it gets you

You still err.

The trinity is false doctrine.

Keypurr is a kind man.

How long ago did I learn that the trinity is hogwash?

Over fifty years ago.

I have learned much since then, and everytime some trin provided a challenge, the challenge was overcome by clear scripture.

You should take me for an example of meekness and humility towards God and His word, His scriptures.

I am no Moses, but you could take my yoke upon you and learn a great deal

Wow. Just wow.

including restating the above that you believe what is written

Not even Keypurr can get through to you. I'm done talking to you for awhile. There is no sense in it anymore.

Really?

You promise?

Cool.

Will you go pray to your gods now?

Three separate prayers to each of them?

Are they like copies with the names changed?

You pray to the Father in the name of Jesus Christ?

When you pray to Jesus christ do you do so in the name of Holy Ghost?

and when you pray to the Holy Ghost, do you pray in the name of the Father?

After all you have three person to pray to?

Oh by the way, are you working on a definition of the trinity for all to see?
