................... are you one of those who would contend it's better simply not to vote at all, however? Of course I have no idea what he's thinking most of the time, but it's always seemed to me that those are the ones who Chrysostom is most arguing against when he perhaps overestimates the likelihood that an overwhelming Republican victory would end abortion in the USA.

Not necessarily, but there could be times when it's best to not vote at all. I'm simply one of those who believes that if it's possible that a man or political party can do anything to end abortion, then it's not a man or political party that actually supports abortion.

In order to end abortion one must vote for those who oppose it without exception; the Republicans politicians who are actually placed in the positions to run for office are not those kind of people.
Electing pols who are opposed to abortion without exception will do absolutely nothing to "end" abortion. Abortion will never be "ended".
This is an absolute impossibility. All that would happen would be to end the LEGALITY of abortion.

What kind of barbarism is this? Situations where a woman,and the baby will die do happen. And doctors should not be allowed to save a woman's life in such situations?

If they have to remove the baby and they cannot save it and it dies I have no problem with that. If they intentionally kill the baby then I have a problem.

If we execute those who murder their children then we shouldn't have a problem. But knowing the corruption and godlessness in the US government that may never happen.

What I *want* is for parents to be RESPONSIBLE and care for all of the children they WILLINGLY created together.
Being responsible simply means allowing the unborn baby to grow and thrive during the time he/she is in the womb ... until birth. AFTER birth, if it is such a burden, then care about the child enough to put him/her up for adoption to a good home.
Nine whole whopping months ... big deal. Quit with all the exaggerations. Women can still go on with their lives once the baby is born. It's not like going through with child birth is the equivalent of losing a limb or being stricken with cancer.
