The Hawaii Department of Health’s refusal to confirm to Arizona Secretary of State Ken Bennett that it has a valid birth certificate on file for President Obama makes it look like Hawaii officials “are hiding something,” said Maricopa County Sheriff Joe Arpaio in an interview this morning with WND.

Bennett told Phoenix talk-radio host Mike Broomhead yesterday on his KFYI AM show that he might keep Obama’s name off of the state’s presidential ballot if he doesn’t receive the confirmation.

Why do they continue to hide it? Did Obama threaten chicago style violence or try to bribe like he did Jeremiah Wright, who stayed away for $150,000?

As stated before, I sort of think he took foreign aid, American or not and is in trouble over it, if he is American.

Arizona elections chief says satisfied Obama a citizen

source

Arizona's secretary of state said on Wednesday he has received information from state officials in Hawaii that verifies Barack Obama's birth records, satisfying criteria to put the president on the November ballot in the state.

Ken Bennett, who in addition to his secretary of state duties serves as Republican presidential candidate Mitt Romney's campaign co-chairman in Arizona, made a request to authorities in Hawaii on March 30 about Obama's birth records on behalf of more than 4,000 constituents, his office said.

Bennett said in a statement that he received verification on Tuesday of Obama's birth from the officials in Hawaii in lieu of a certified birth certificate.

"Late yesterday, our office received the 'verification in-lieu of certified copy' from officials within the Hawaii Department of Health that we requested in March," Bennett said.

"They have officially confirmed that the information in the copy of the Certificate of Live Birth for the President matches the original record in their files. ... I consider the matter closed," he added.

[i]Breitbart News has obtained a promotional booklet produced in 1991 by Barack Obama's then-literary agency, Acton & Dystel, which touts Obama as "born in Kenya and raised in Indonesia and Hawaii."

The booklet, which was distributed to "business colleagues" in the publishing industry, includes a brief biography of Obama among the biographies of eighty-nine other authors represented by Acton & Dystel.

It also promotes Obama's anticipated first book, Journeys in Black and White--which Obama abandoned, later publishing Dreams from My Father instead.

Obama’s biography in the booklet is as follows (image and text below):
Barack Obama, the first African-American president of the Harvard Law Review, was born in Kenya and raised in Indonesia and Hawaii. The son of an American anthropologist and a Kenyan finance minister, he attended Columbia University and worked as a financial journalist and editor for Business International Corporation. He served as project coordinator in Harlem for the New York Public Interest Research Group, and was Executive Director of the Developing Communities Project in Chicago’s South Side. His commitment to social and racial issues will be evident in his first book, Journeys in Black and White.
Obama has been known frequently to fictionalize aspects of his own life. During his 2008 campaign, for instance, Obama claimed that his dying mother had fought with insurance companies over coverage for her cancer treatments.

That turned out to be untrue, but Obama has repeated the story--which even the Washington Post called "misleading"--in a campaign video for the 2012 election.

shouldn't besurprised the pres is a big liar...

what is lying to someone who thinks its OK to murder innocent children??

"Props"? Like Ken Bennett, who in addition to his secretary of state duties serves as Republican presidential candidate Mitt Romney's campaign co-chairman in Arizona?

Those props?

So we're meant to believe a conspiracy this sloppy actually...worked? Who put this "coverup" together? The all-powerful They? Because if this is how They operate, They operate like the Three Stooges.

Andrew Breitbart, founder of Breitbart.com

In the hours immediately following Senator Ted Kennedy's death, Breitbart called Kennedy a "villain", a "duplicitous bastard", a "prick" and "a special pile of human excrement." (moderators feel free to censor any content you may find offensive for a Christian forum)

Breitbart often appeared as a speaker at Tea Party movement events across the U.S. For example, Breitbart was a keynote speaker at the first National Tea Party Convention at Gaylord Opryland Hotel in Nashville on February 6, 2010.

Breitbart later involved himself in a controversy over homophobic and alleged racial slurs being used at a March 20, 2010, rally at the United States Capitol in Washington, D.C., by asserting that slurs were never used, and that "It was a set-up" by Nancy Pelosi and the Democratic Party.

Breitbart insisted Congressman John Lewis and several other witnesses were forced to lie, concluding that "Nancy Pelosi did a great disservice to a great civil rights icon by thrusting him out there to perform this mischievous task. His reputation is now on the line as a result of her desperation to take down the Tea Party movement."

I'm committed to the destruction of the old media guard. And it's a very good business model.

In 2008 Breitbart launched the website "Big Hollywood," a "group blog" driven by some who work within Los Angeles, with contributions from a variety of writers, including politically conservative entertainment-industry professionals.

In 2009, the site used audio from a secretly recorded conference call to accuse the National Endowment of the Arts of encouraging artists to create work in support of Barack Obama's domestic policy agenda.

Breitbart launched BigGovernment.com The site premiered with hidden camera video footage ..... attracting nationwide attention resulting in the ACORN 2009 undercover videos controversy.

In July 2010 Breitbart was accused of smearing USDA official Shirley Sherrod with the viral video "Proof NAACP Awards Racism" ..... The NAACP condemned Sherrod video comments and approved her July 19 dismissal from government service ..... Following the release of the full video, the NAACP also reversed their rebuke of Sherrod, and Secretary of Agriculture Tom Vilsack apologized and offered Sherrod a new government position. In 2011, Sherrod sued Breitbart for defamation .....

Breitbart was also involved in the 2009 ACORN video controversy. Hannah Giles[45][46] posed as a prostitute seeking assistance while James O'Keefe portrayed her boyfriend, and clandestinely videotaped meetings with ACORN staff .....

In February 2012 a YouTube video showed Breitbart yelling at Occupy D.C. protesters outside a Washington D.C. hotel hosting a Conservative Political Action Conference (CPAC). The video showed security escorting Breitbart back to the hotel while he told the protestors to "behave yourself", and alluding to reported assaults of women at Occupy encampments, he repeatedly yelled "stop raping people" and called the protestors "filthy, filthy, raping, murdering freaks!”. David Carr said with the incident Briebart had caused his last "viral storm on the Web."

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Andrew_Breitbart
I'm sure that the OP (Nick M) is already well aware that "Breitbart.com" can hardly be considered an unbiased source when it comes to reporting American politics - especially when it makes yet another attempt to resurrect accusations concerning "Obama's Kenyan birthplace."

John McCain wisely distanced himself from such allegations during 2008 Presidential and Karl Rove has warned Republican leaders that repeated "birther" claims not only alienates moderates and independents, but it plays right into the Obama strategy of distracting the public's attention away from what should be the campaign's central issue - the ECONOMY!

The Democrats would be eternally greatful should "Nick M" continue posting "birther" threads from now until the 2012 Presidential Election.
