In the Last Supper , that was not Jesus blood that all were drinking NOR His body that the 12 were eating .

This SYMBOLISM goes back whem the Lamb was Slain and it's blood sprinked on the door jams .

another definition of insanity:

doing the same thing over and over

expecting a different result

but then... doing something over and over expecting the SAME result that u have always gotten... is rather insane also...

example..

thinking that if you just explain things about the Cathlic Church (Last Acceptable Prejudice) well enough, posters like Hissium Serpentum might some day get it...

So you do believe in a human mediator. You've been exposed as a liar, by your own words.

wow, those short posts always... get me to read them somehow...

anyhow..

i guess u protestants dont need a mediator??

well,

Who baptized you?

Did God himself pour the water over you?

Who preaches to you?

Does Jesus appear to you in your home and preach to you personally?

or do you go to the "church" and listen to a human mediator aka pastor?

Jesus is our mediator. Who is yours?

so many people here do both...

This OSAS thing is a prime example

just because (such and such) scripture says (this or that)

they make a whole belief system out of those psgs, summarily tossing out the rest... (throwing out Jn 6:27-54, Mt 16:18... etc)

I have read the entire Bible... some parts over and over... PLUS

i have had it read to me for years and years now while @ Holy Mass..

The ones who believe in OSAS ... are the ones who have not read the Bible... or if they read it, they dont u/stand half of what they read... or whatever...

Luther drew the wrong conclusion from the right premise

right premise: God loves us and is bigger than our sins

wrong conclusion: it doesn't matter if we sin

Jesus:

Go and sin no more

The one who loves me will keep my commandments (Jn 15)
Does your church keep his commandments? If you break one your guilty of breaking them all. Do you keep his seventh day Sabbath or the Church established first day? Ask your father.

Your words, Go and sin no more.

Psalm 1[/color] and Job 28:28

Rev 22:14 Blessed are they that do his commandments, that they may have right to the tree of life, and may enter in through the gates into the city.

Joh 4:23 "But an hour is coming, and now is, when the true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and truth; for such people the Father seeks to be His worshipers.

I love the God of my Lord Jesus Christ

As Bright Raven said, Jesus is our mediator.

1 Timothy 2:5

Quote:
Who baptized you?
The Holy Spirit baptized me into the death of Jesus Christ.

Quote:
Did God himself pour the water over you?
What does water have to do with it? John the Baptist said Jesus would baptize with the Spirit and with fire, as opposed to water, why do you reject Christ's baptism in favor of John's?

Quote:

or do you go to the "church" and listen to a human mediator aka pastor?
Preaching and mediating are not connected.

the Church has NEVER sinned

the ppl therein sin all the time

but as the Word says

He who sins does not know God -- i think that is 1 Jn... (?)
