Gods laws are his commandments, we are suppose to Keep them.

Very well, let us see if the Catholic Church Keeps the Commandments.

1. ONE: 'You shall have no other gods before Me.'

Jannie , do you ever Pray to Mary ?

TWO: 'You shall not make for yourself a carved image .

Jannie, do you have a Statue or Picture of Mary or Jesus ?

THREE: 'You shall not take the name of the LORD your God in vain.'

Jannie, Do you say " Oh My God" or Gee or Gosh etc.

FOUR: 'Remember the Sabbath day, to keep it holy.'

Jannie, do you keep Saturday , which is the Sabbath as God says in the Bible.

FIVE: 'Honor your father and your mother.'

Jannie, Have you ever disobeyed or said a bad word to your parent.

SIX: 'You shall not murder.'

Jannie, do you call people names like Moron etc. ?

Matthew 5:21 Ye have heard that it was said by them of old time, Thou shalt not kill; and whosoever shall kill shall be in danger of the judgment:
22 But I say unto you, That whosoever is angry with his brother is in danger of the judgment: and whosoever shall say to his brother, Raca, shall be in danger of the council: but whosoever shall say, Thou fool, shall be in danger of hell fire.

SEVEN: 'You shall not commit adultery.'

Mt 5:27 Ye have heard that it was said by them of old time, Thou shalt not commit adultery:
Mt 5:28 But I say unto you, That whosoever looketh on a person to lust after them hath committed adultery already in his heart.

EIGHT: 'You shall not steal.'

Jannie , have you ever taken anything that you should not have taken ?

NINE: 'You shall not bear false witness against your neighbor.'

Jannie, have you ever LIED to anyone ????

TEN: 'You shall not covet your neighbor's house;
you shall not covet anything that is your neighbor's.'

Jannie, have you ever been envious of what a another person has ?

This is what most of them on here are preaching and teaching to deny Jesus words, in the NT of any bible in the world by misinterpreting Paul and twisting and distorting the Lords words as a way for them to live by.

Beware of these false teachers
I'm OSAS and I don't think you're going to Hell for any of those reasons. I also don't think that you're going to Heaven for any of them either. Those who go to Heaven do so because they trusted in the one who knew no sin and was made sin for us so that we might become the very righteousness of God in Him. And those who go to Hell do so because they didn't trust in Him. John 3:16-18.

Jannie please address STP's posted questions here, it should lead to a good discussion.

which excludes Catholics, right? geez... Can't u see the lunacy of this "argument"????

how utterly ironic...

so in other words, the only unforgivable sin is to have an emotional issue w/ trust????

not murdering someone

not adultery

not homosexual acts

but lack of trusting perfectly....

but ... uh...

i thought if i accpt Christ

i can commit ANY sin... ANY sin at all...

geee.... you mean that's not so?????

but... uh... doesn't Once Saved Always SAved

mean what it says??????

Murder, adultery and homosexuality are not unforgivable sins, no.

And trust isn't a sin issue. Sin was nailed to the cross. If you accept Him you're saved, end of story. Even if you commit sins afterward, your salvation is not lost.

And I said absolutely nothing about emotional issues with trust. But I know that I am not always faithful; thank God He is. It is His faith by which I am saved, not my own. My faith is worthless; it waxes and wanes. The same goes for you; for all of us. If you trust in anyone one other than Him for your salvation you are lost. But if you trust in Him, and Him alone [else it is not trust] then you are His and He will never let you go.

You really should stop being so asinine and spouting off after you've made an assumption, as you have clearly demonstrated you don't know what you're talking about.

So let me ask you since you seem the most decent one on here out of the,(OSAS sect members) why did Jesus leave us commandments and consequences in the whole NT for those believers who break the commandments and who do not attend church.? Thank you

jannie

I just dont understand how they exclude Christs commandments and church attendance, where is this biblical in any religion in the world,? or people who call themselves CHristians, I dont see how they think anyone would buy that non-biblical doctrine.

Dont you also feel belief is an action on our part, Why would Jesus leave us in his own words commandments and consequences, why would he tell us or make you or any of your sect believe you have nothing to do but believe in him, why have all those books on commandment keeping and consequences it dont add up. I feel your sect faisl to define true faith, deeds comes with faith. bottom line..

Jannie
