Ignore doesn't work on threads started by a particular poster, just the posts.

Every time I read a thread title that sounds interesting, I check the author. If the author is OMEGA, LetsArgue or Arthur Brain I skip it. But it's rare that their thread titles do not betray their identity.

I do the same thing for Robert Pate, because though he's MAD and I agree, mostly, that is the only thing about which he posts.
You should hand out trips to the penalty box for people that start multiple threads at once. Like Truth sets free and OSAS. He gets refuted and knows it, so he just starts another thread to pull people from where he is refuted. It's annoying.
Since TOL is now a teenager, over 15 years old and not a wee little one (oh those were the days) what kind of attitude has it developed into. An "Oh dad, I already know that and you're just dumb" attitude or has it been raised correctly, keeping a good attitude and a good standing?

I guess it's on who exactly you're basing it on. Based on those of us who have been here since the beginning, we have a like-mindedness that keeps us on the up and up, not wavering in our thinking. And then there have been those along the way who have joined us to either end up in our like-mindedness, partly or totally against our beliefs, or simply want to cause trouble. As for those who partly or totally are against our beliefs, we have many who still abide by the rules and debate fairly.
So I'd say all in all, TOL is a pretty decent enjoyable teenager because it was raised right, stayed the course and did not waver in beliefs or how it was run.

Maybe TOL is really like a senior citizen who keeps needing it's dentures cleaned and it's Depends changed.
