At Peace With God Or Under His Wrath? - June 14th, 2012, 09:37 AM

Paul usually opened his epistles with..."Grace be to you, and peace, from God our Father, and from the Lord Jesus Christ," Ephesians 1:2.

In the judgment we will either be found at peace with God or we will be found under his wrath. To be at peace with God means eternal salvation and eternal life. To be under his wrath means eternal damnation.

God has made peace with sinful humanity through his Son Jesus Christ, "For he is our peace, who has made both one, and has broken down the middle wall of patition between us. Having abolished in his flesh the enmity, even the law of commandments contained in the ordinances; for to make in himself of twain one new man, so making peace," Ephesians 2:14, 15.

God is a peace with humanity. Unfortunately not all of humanity is at peace with God.

Paul wrote, "Therefore being justified by faith we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ," Romans 5:1.

All who that believe that they are justified by faith, also believe that they have been justified by Christ. Christ is their justifier, Romans 3:26. Christ justifies us by doing for us that which we cannot do for ourselves, fulfilling the law and atoneing for our sins. Those who have been justified by Christ are trusting in the work and righteousness of Christ for their salvation. They have renounced their own righteousness and works and have entered into His rest, Hebrews 4:10 and are at peace with God and His Son Jesus Christ.

They are "In Christ." Because of the work of Christ that was done in their name and on their behalf, God sees them as perfect and complete "In Christ" Hebrews 10:14. They are at peace with God and His Son Jesus Christ.

All who are trying to be justified some other way, other than by faith, are under the wrath of God. They refuse to enter into his rest, Hebrews 4:3. They are unbelievers. They do not believe that Christ has overcome sin, death and the devil, Colossians 2:15. Because of unbelief they are trying to be justified by the works of the law, Galatians 3:10 which leads to eternal damnation. They do not believe that God has made peace with them through Jesus Christ. They are working hard to earn God's favor by works and obedience to the law, (religion) They are trying to work out their own salvation by trying to be good enough.

The Gospel message is that we have ALREADY been reconciled to God by the death of His Son Jesus Christ, Romans 5:10. Now it is up to us to accept God's great free offer of reconciliation and to be at peace with God. Jesus Christ sits in heaven having done all that is necessary for the salvation of fallen man, Jesus said, "Behold, I stand at the door and knock." Revelation 3:20. He wants you to enter into his rest.

None for Whom Christ died for are under God's Wrath, for Christ has propitiated God's Wrath on their behalf 1 Jn 2:2 and they have been reconciled to God by His Death Rom 5:10

Rom 2:28-29

28 For he is not a Jew, which is one outwardly; neither is that circumcision, which is outward in the flesh:

29 But he is a Jew, which is one inwardly; and circumcision is that of the heart, in the spirit, and not in the letter; whose praise is not of men, but of God.

The Bible makes it very clear that Jesus died for the sins of the whole world, 1 John 4:14.

And that by his life, death and resurrection he has reconciled the whole world unto himself, 2 Corinthians 5:18, 19.

This reconciliation becomes ours by faith alone.

How can any Christ died for be under the Wrath of God when Jesus Christ exhausted His Wrath for them ?

Thats a Lie, Those Christ died for are reconciled to God, while they are enemies and in unbelief, by the Death of Christ alone ! Rom 5:10

It is not possible for someone like yourself that rejects so much of the Bible to ever come into the "knowledge of the truth."

You have rejected the "Historical Gospel" of Jesus Christ and have embraced "another" Gospel.

As we see from Rom 5:10, a Person Christ died for is Reconciled to God while they are being enemies, as such they are faithless !

Paul says that everyone is a sinner and that the whole world is guilty before God, Romans 3:19.

Not just some, all have sinned, Romans 3:23.

Since ALL are sinners, ALL qualify to be saved.

Christ died for ALL of the ungodly, Romans 5:6.

"Therefore as by the offence of one (Adam) judgment came upon ALL MEN to condemnation; even so by the righteousness of one (Christ) the free gift came upon ALL MEN unto justification of life," Romans 5:18.

More scripture for you to reject.

It is written;

Riches do not profit in the day of wrath, but righteousness delivers from death.

The desire of the righteous ends only in good; the expectation of the wicked in wrath.

Lo, the day of the Lord comes, cruel, with wrath and burning anger; To lay waste the land and destroy the sinners within it!

Look, the storm of the Lord! Wrath has gone forth, a whirling tempest; it will burst upon the head of the wicked.

They made their hearts adamant in order not to hear the law and the words that the Lord of hosts had sent by his spirit through the former prophets. Therefore great wrath came from the Lord of hosts.

Whoever believes in the Son has eternal life; whoever disobeys the Son will not see life, but must endure the wrath of God.

Those for whom Christ died for, when they are born into this world children of wrath as others, they have a blessing upon them that others do not have that are born in the same condition, and that is , the wrath they deserve from God because of their sinfulness, that wrath has been appeased, satisfied by Jesus Christ in their behalf, and they have been legally reconciled to God by His Death Death Rom 5:10

For if, when we were enemies, we were reconciled to God by the death of his Son, much more, being reconciled, we shall be saved by his life.

Folks, God has no wrath for those whom His Son's Death hath already satisfied His Wrath and Justice on behalf of !

Wrong.

Ezekiel and the Lord say;

" When a land sins against me by acting faithlessly, and I stretch out my hand against it, and break its staff of bread and send famine upon it, and cut off from it human beings and animals, even if Noah, Daniel, and Job, these three, were in it, they would save only their own lives by their righteousness, says the Lord God.

If I bring a sword upon that land and say, "Let a sword pass through the land," and I cut off human beings and animals from it;
though these three men were in it,Noah, Daniel and Job, as I live, says the Lord God, they would save neither sons nor daughters, but they alone would be saved."

Jesus said "I did not come to bring peace but a sword."

All those who do right will rise to live the evildoers will rise to be damned.

Sow justice for yourself and reap the fruits of piety, says the Lord

The righteous will go off to eternal life.

For all those Christ died for,their sins hath been taken away,God has no ought against them at all ! Jn 1:29

29 The next day John seeth Jesus coming unto him, and saith, Behold the Lamb of God, which taketh away the sin of the world.

So how is it possible for one of those of this world referred to in Jn 1:29, how could they be under the wrath of God ? For what ? Their sins are gone !

Rom 2:28-29

People misunderstand because they do not believe in the One whom God has sent.

They say how do we not believe and He says; The man who has faith in me will do the works I do.

Don't you see the words I post are not my own, it is the Lord who lives in me performing His works.

The Lord says;

"If you obey my voice and keep my covenant, you shall be my treasured possession out of all the peoples. Indeed, the whole earth is mine, but you shall be for me a priestly kingdom and a holy nation."

Psalms;

94:15 Judgment will again be done with justice, and all the upright of heart will follow it.

96:1 Sing to the Lord a new song; sing to the Lord, all the earth. Sing to the Lord, bless his name; tell of his salvation day after day. 3 Tell his glory among the nations, his wondrous works among all the peoples.

97:6 The heavens proclaim the Lords righteousness; and all the peoples behold his glory.

97:11 Light dawns for the righteous, and joy for the upright of heart.

98:2 The Lord has made known his salvation; he has revealed his justice in the sight of all the nations. He has remembered his kindness and faithfulness to the house of Israel. All the ends of the earth have seen the salvation of our God.

106:3 Blessed are those who observe what is right, who do always what is just.

I do nothing on my own ,I only say what the Lord has taught me for the One who sent me is with me He has not deserted me because I always do what pleases Him.

I did not come on my own, the Lord who sent me commanded me what to say and how to speak and since I know His commandment is eternal life what I say is spoken just as He instructed me.

Thats irrelevant, The Death of Christ has still taken away the sins of all for whom He died, and God has no reason to punish any of them !
