The charity of the RCC is well known and famous throughout the land. And this is something that we all should respect and appreciate. Some of the charity that the RCC has done would have gone undone without the RCC. Off the top of my head I can think of Sister Teresa of Calcutta. What a wonderful lady. You could see in her eyes even on TV the love that she had for those she gave her life to try and help. Thank you RCC for giving of yourselves to us.

The Apostle's Creed says: "I believe in the Holy Spirit, the Holy catholic Church, the Communion of Saints, the forgiveness of sins, the Resurrection of the body and life everlasting. Amen."

Some might think this usurps belief in God as a prerequisite - to have "belief" in something besides God. But it is all because of God and all about God's Salvation.

"This then is what it means to be born again of water and Spirit: just as our dying is effected in the water, our living is wrought in the Spirit. In three immersions and in an equal number of invocations the great mystery of baptism is completed in such a way that the type of death may be shown figuratively, and that by the handing on of divine knowledge the souls of the baptized may be illuminated. If, therefore, there is any grace in the water, it is not from the nature of water but from the Spirit's presence there."--St Basil the Great (ca. 350 AD)
