I'd say most websites age like rabbits. They bite the dust before they are 5 years old.

Hi Knight, Can you merge the two Grosnick Marowbe 3 threads.

NO!
We have a wager in that original thread that ends on the 21st.
Then they can be merged if necessary.

Of course, as usual, the final decision is up to Knight.
Whatever he decides, we will accept.

***edit to add****
Never mind, the wager ended early!

Maybe TOL is really like a senior citizen who keeps needing it's dentures cleaned and it's Depends changed.
Well, I've definitely known of a few Depends that needed changing.

Is there a way to see who left a tag on a thread? I'd be curious about a couple.

Is that a euphemism for cropdusting, which is a euphemism for the other thing?

I can hear my kids' voices now if they got hold of this one: "Okay hold it; who 'left the tag on the thread'?!?!"

That was one big tag on that one thread!

So...20k profile visits. That has to be a record.

In ancient times when something remarkable was accomplished benevolent rulers would bestow ponies on a grateful populace.

Little known fact.

Oh, sorry, hey, isn't that some sort of record? It makes the whole thing feel like jeopardy.

Speaking of which, when will Knight be revealing the API for accessing profile visits? It's a bit of a pain updating it 20,000 times. Also, could we get facebook integration that updates my status each time someone visits, complete with the name of the visitor and the time of visitation? ...A guy can dream, can't he?

"If a sheerly linguistic version of the gospel could be concocted, it would merely so be no longer the gospel. Is there an option on the forum or on user CP that I can see posts on threads that are replies specifically to me. As in if someone quoted me?

I guess it would be called "replies to your posts".

No there is not.

The only similar option to that would be to subscribe to any thread you participated in. Yet even that would only let you know if new posts were made not if those posts were directed specifically to you.

Thanks. I wish you could add that feature. I suppose you have your reasons not to.
