To Blaspheme the Holy Spirit - June 28th, 2012, 05:29 AM

Since I believe that God is the head, brain and life of His body of believers and his name is Jesus Christ and that there is no trinity--but a Unity---
Then when Jesus said that mankind could say anything they wanted about Him and be forgiven but if they blasphemed the Holy Spirit they would not be forgiven, I think this is what God meant
God never sinned when He walked among men but was tried and judged as though He were guilty. His Holy Spirit of Love was blasphemed and will not be forgiven.--God is Love--the Spirit of Love is Holy--Those who love God worship Him in spirit and in truth. There is no opposite to God--If you hate your neighbor then there is not God nor love in you. If you hate and do not love--you have not the Holy Spirit (God/Jesus)
I believe that the Holy Spirit is Love--the gift of the Holy Spirit is eternal life to those who love Him--you show that you love Him by keeping His commandments and loving your neighbor as yourself--because when you look into the eyes of your neighbor your looking into the eyes of God.

Rejecting Jesus Christ as the Messiah/Son of God is rejecting the Holy Spirit.

"Verily I say unto you, All sins shall be forgiven unto the sons of men, and blasphemies wherewith soever they shall blaspheme: But he that shall blaspheme against the Holy Ghost hath never forgiveness, but is in danger of eternal damnation: Because they said, He hath an unclean spirit" (Mark3:28-30).

And this only applies to the generation of Jews that denied Him and were not baptized in His name.

The HOly Spirit is the spirit of Hope. Despair is the sin that can't be forgiven. Why can't despair be forgiven? It is clear that God, through Jesus, will forgive anything we are truly repentent of, and will forgive any sin we ask to be forgiven.

But he who despairs, has no hope of forgiveness, does not believe there is any power or person who can forgive him, does not believe he can be forgiven and therfore cannot ask to be forgiven. We are told "ask and you shall receive' but the corollary is also true, do not ask and you will not receive.

Despair can't be forgiven because, of its nature, it does not seek to be forgiven.

"Not everything that is clever, is true."

The Holy Spirit is the spirit of truth and if somebody should be so fortunate as to learn the truth and others come against it as if it is evil, they are blaspheming the Holy Spirit.

There've been a zillion and one doctrines that have come and gone concerning what has been and what will be. Even though many of them are as different from each other as night and day they have not brought about any changes for the better in the church nor does preaching them seem to have brought any condemnation on those who believe what may not be true.

However, I have seen some pretty harsh judgments get passed on some individuals and their ministries that in my opinion was because they blasphemed the truth of the Holy Spirit when it was spoken to them by someone who knew the truth.

this psg, like most others

does not... i mean IS not explained in the Bible

the Church is needed to explain it

the Church teaches there is NO sin that is unforgivable as long as the person REPENTS and has a FIRM purpose of nver doing it agian... (amdnment)

Jesus is WARNING ppl here... in this psg...

becaue those men seem to be well on their way to committing this sin unto death

up until death one still has the chance to ask for Christ's forgivenss and mercy

And where exactly did you get that from? I see nothing Biblical to support this view.

At the name of Jesus every knee should bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth, and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.
