People have a tendency of simply following the crowd and repeating what they have heard without first investigating if what they have heard is true or not.
People did the same before Hitler came into power.
Before we continue promulgating (repeating what we have heard) that Islam is a 'religion of peace' we should investigate if the 'religion' is really one of peace.
We should read some of these books, or at least one of them.

Muslim are more liberal than Christians because holiness or sacredness was not given to anyone (after Mohammed) we have only teachers of Islam, any Muslim is responsible of his thoughts and his works.

Islam denies the deity of Christ, and denies the trinity.
And those who say that there is a trinity and that Jesus is God, are blasphemers and hell bound.

They surely disbelieve who say: Lo! Allah is the Messiah, son of Mary. The Messiah (himself) said: O Children of Israel, worship Allah, my Lord and your Lord. 5:73
They surely disbelieve who say: Lo! Allah is the third of three; when there is no God save the One God. If they desist not from so saying a painful doom will fall on those of them who disbelieve.

Surely, disbelievers are those who said: "Allah is the third of the three (in a Trinity)." But there is no ilah (god) (none who has the right to be worshipped) but One Ilah (God -Allah). And if they cease not from what they say, verily, a painful torment will befall the disbelievers among them.
