Today, I am grateful for.....

.....The retirement/nursing home ministry.

.....Sharing the love of Jesus with the ill and infirm.

.....The two Sunday services, and Friday and Saturday sing-alongs.

.....The opportunity to care for the hospice residents.

That when I open a can of Shinola I absolutely know what's in it.

rain (it rained here at my house for the first time in probably four weeks)

finishing books (My oldest and I finished our first novel together, Treasure Island)

spending a quiet night with my wife.

For this experience and the good it has done me, whether or not I have done good by it, though I hope to have. I suppose that's a bit long to add to the potential tombstone list though.

.....Days at the nursing home to care for the residents.

All The Lord has done, is doing and is about to do. His Goodness is apparent in my life. What a wonderful and terrible thing to fall into The Hands of The Living God!!!
