Actually that statement is perfectly reasonable in a free society. As is this one and the one which you stated. Freedom is a great thing because it allows us to dissent.

The only dissent that LA would want in civilized society is to allow for is his own.

Please do not misconstrue this to think I support making guns illegal. But I do think that freedom of speech allows for those to make statements in support of that.

I agree. And that is because the majority often becomes complacent. But in this regard it is the complacent that would allow for government to take our guns away.
