The process was like this:
One mother Ape had baby that was not an ape, but due to a mutation of the Chromosomes, was different from Apes in a fundamental way such as to be a discret species of iys own.
This new type of man-ape mated with other apes of his mother's kind for some time.
Even the Bible tells us that until God made Eve for this new species, these types of male man-apes did not have a female with the same genetic changes he, himself, had acquired.
All other apes, (which have 24 chromosome pairs),continued to live and prosper in abundance.
At first, it was from this single, and then, growing small population of man-apes (who only 23 chromosomes) that the first species of man added to the Animal Kingdom, as opposed to having changed that kingdom by replacibg the parent ape source.
Gen. 2:20 And Adam, (a new species, not a single person), gave names to all cattle, and to the fowl of the air, and to every beast of the field; but for Adam there was not found an help meet for him.

A creationist claiming that "God hides His power in this world" has no logical difference to a theistic evolutionist saying God's "supernatural" power/potential is hidden from a scientific perspective.
///
Very true!
Peace,
Michael
A scientific discipline, one which begins by claiming Cause and Effect, necessitates that one accepts the single Axiom of an initial First Cause not requiring explanation.
That First Cause is the Creator of this Reality under rhe Law of Cause/Effect.

If a person is a theistic evolutionist, then of course they would have confidence that God achieved his goals through a few physical laws. And such confidence by a TE is not saying "a God did not do what he said".
God is too vague a term because it connotes the idea of a person.
The myths have by and large indoctrinated people to project the idea ofa personification associated with the word god.
Mother Nature is an improvement, but still too suggestive of some entity like ourselves.
At least Mammon is an improvement, though still too concrete for what we read inthe Bible.
I recommend we pay more attention to the meaning of the God of the Bible as a concept of something which already has power over us.
I insist that god is Reality, itself, since Jesus said he was the personification of Truth, manifest symbolically as that Ideal.
Whenthe scriptures claim God cries out "I am," the message is clear that Reality exists and is the same for everyone.
In fact, the Hebrew word YHVH acytually is more properly defined as "I am what I will becpme."
This identifies the ever unfolding Reality which in its wake father's Truth, or a virtual history of past Realities.
The defining virtue of Reality is the blessing of Truth which follows from its ever unfolding, eternal, and permanent ability to Change.
Its love for us is expressed in its spirit of Natural Laws that allow man to understand and co-exist with Reality.
But Reality is absolutely our master and it is jealous of any comopetition from Fantasy Worlds that life forms might assume could replace Reality in the relationship between them.
Every life form must bow to Reality by adapting to its ever changing environment of perish in the fires of molten magma that will eventually cover its remains after extinction of it species.
Gen. 1:2 And the earth was without form, (a spinning cloud of molten matter and gases), and void: (not valid as a sphere yet- an accretion disk), and darkness: [choshek: obscurity] was upon the face of the deep: [tehowm: the deep primeval abyss].
And (the great Shechinah), the spirit, (the pan-en-theistic Natural Laws) of God moved upon the face: [paniym: presence] of the waters (of these spinning rocks of "transitory things:" [i.e., mayim: Hebrew])

The Hebrew word for Heaven does mean the cosmos when applicable (Like in Gen 1:1 whenthe un, earth, stars galaxies etc were created oin day one).
///
But it's not applicable in this case because the writer of Genesis, whoever it was, has given you the exact thing that was called heaven, the firmament.
Stuart
The Theistic Evolution Bible reader understands the second "day" of creation to refer to the formation of the firmament above, atmosphere, and the firmament below, the appearance of water.
Gen. 1:6 And (The First Cause), “God,” said, Let there be a firmament, (seven layers of atmosphere),... the Firmament above:
... in the midst of the waters, and let it divide the (atmospheric) "waters," (from the Hebrew meaning, transitory things in general), from the (condensed liquid) waters.
Gen. 1:7 And (Father Nature, Reality), “God,” made the firmament (i.e.; atmosphere), and divided the (condensed) waters,... (into the oceans, seas, and rivers),... the Firmament below:
\
1) oceans
2) inland seas
3) lakes
4) rivers
5) underground water
6) glaciers
7) atmospheric water vapor)...
... which were under the firmament from the waters, (transitory things: [mayim: Hebrew]), which were above the firmament: and it was so.
The seven Large Tectonic Plates float on the liquid Rock
Genesis did not mention the seven layers of rock which comprise the earth, but the numerical sets offered here are part of the cabala whichthe jews once utilized:

were to preach any other gospel than that of
Jesus the Christ, crucified, buried, and
raised from the dead by God the Father,
to deliver us from this present evil world,
let that false preacher be accursed.' (Gal 1:1-4,8-9)

One can always tell when the respondent feels his religion is threatened, yet feels he has no adequate defense but to insult the source of the threat.
yes, he's fiesty and emotional about it, isn't he?

Being accurate is definitely a passion of mine, although I am not particularly emotional about you. Unfortunately it is very low on your priority list. I could care less what a flunky from Canada feels about things he obviously does not understand accurately. You might be able to impress your son or people like Don W who have minimum cerebral cortex activity, but most thinking people do not fall for your non-sense.

Please, If you haven't got any good memes or even a witty joke,
don't bother to post.
This isn't a debate thread on 'evolution' or 'atheism', its a fun joke thread.
You are taking things way too seriously.
Don't pull a Colorado on us, please...

Oh, you are just being a clown. How utterly appropriate.
I certainly would not kill people because I might run into a few obstacles in life. I think you might be projecting your own feelings onto others again.
You are a sad sad individual. I only have pity for you.
You know what is really humorous? Your implication that you are offering "good memes" and "witty jokes". You seriously overestimate your own prowess.
