That is correct. The gift has already been given, now all men have to individually do is receive it.
Jesus was/is the gift.

correct, under the old covenant, the whole world stood condemned. Under the new covenant, the whole world has received the gift of reconciliation/ JESUS.
Unto us, a Child is born...you know the text. God sent His Son, as a GIFT to the WHOLE world.
He does not force anyone to accept it.
The Gift/reconciliation/JESUS is available to all the world.
God could not save
anyone if the reconciliation/forgiveness of sins, was not already accomplished.

I have been raised with Christ to heavenly places... I am a new creation; I am not awaiting salvation; I have it..NOW...I am walking in the Spirit; and the Spirit cannot have old covenant shadows, that only pointed to it,
in it.
The shadows are in the past/BEFORE Christ came and fulfilled them.
It is true that some are still groping in the shadows, but, that does NOT mean they are in the new covenant; it means their minds are not fully mature yet....to have them BE GONE.
The renewing of the Mind is a process for us all.
Day by day; as love grows in our understanding, we are putting OFF the old way....but, only in our mind; in the
new covenant itself, they do not EXIST.
That means in Christ they do not EXIST, He is the reality; and we are growing to be like HIM.
