The time has come to be with our son Tom -

We are headed for Denver, we'll there Wednesday afternoon.
Our oldest son Thomas is going from hospital to hospice care. The Dr's said he has maybe 7-10 days. We'll be back when all things are settled, when I can get to the internet I'll make contact with TOL.
We've been this path before, it doesn't get any easier, but I know this, there are family and friends and our TOLer's that have helped carry us through this, the Lord bless you all, and watch over you while we are away.
Remember, death is the end of dying, and our dear sweet son Thomas will be safe in the arms of Jesus.
.....O LORD my God, in You I put my trust. Psalm 7:1
.....To You, O LORD, I lift up my soul. Psalm 25:1
Too often we underestimate the power of a touch, a smile, a kind word, a listening ear, an honest compliment, or the smallest act of caring, all of which have the potential to turn a life around. ~ Leo Buscaglia

Psalmist, I am so very, very sorry. My heart goes out to you and your family. Many prayers going up. God be with you all as you gather around your son.

God be with, comfort and strengthen you my friend. You and your family will be in my prayers. When my father's health failed after a surgery and we were forced to consider losing him I remember that the only thought that helped me was that if the worst for us came to be then he would be leaving the arms of those who loved him for the only one who loves him more.
Psalmist, I'm just so sorry to hear about Tom. Peace be with you, with Mrs Psalmist, with Tom, the family and all of Tom's loved ones.

I can't begin to tell you how sorry I am. You continue in my prayers.

God bless you and yours Psalmist!
God is not discoverable or demonstrable by purely scientific means, unfortunately for the scientifically minded. But that really proves nothing. It simply means that the wrong instruments are being used for the job. ~John Bertram Phillips

I'm sorry.
I believe that the Universe is one being, all its parts are different expressions of the same energy,
and they are all in communication with each other, therefore parts of one organic whole.
This whole is in all its parts so beautiful, and is felt by me to be so intensely in earnest, that I am compelled to love it and to think of it as divine
